@@DivingDucksCrochet I'm new to the crocheting world. How do you double the yarn? Is there a yarn that's already bulky enough for me to make this hat without having to double up the yarn? Thanks.

I could never find a beanie big enough to fit my big hair, so I decided to make my own. I went from being a beginner who only knew the single crochet stitch to learning five new stitches! You are an amazing and easy-to-follow teacher who helped me complete the first ever beanie that I can actually wear. The bonus was being able to easily learn new stitches. Thank you so much!

This is actually really easy and once you see what each stitch does! Thank you for this video. What I really like about this, is you can make it medium or large, and putting a stitch in each ridge on the brim is so much easier than counting/using multiples of 3,4,5 stitches.

You can make this with any yarn! Doubling up just makes it bulkier, I used size 4 and it looks GREAT! Also, yarn balls will usually have 2 ends available , one inside and one on the outside, and it pulls from each. When you double up, you just treat the yarn as if it was 1 strand.
