  • This week on the DoneDeal RUclips channel we're reviewing Ford's Puma ST! The Puma brand has a huge amount of pedigree, and so the Puma ST makes a lot of sense on paper! The interesting part is that the most modern Puma is now a crossover SUV, which technically makes it an unusual combination, however Ford have pulled it off!
The 3 cylinder Turbo charged engine is nearly identical to that of the very popular Fiesta St, however it has a little more torque. The noise from the exhaust is fabulous, and with the pops and bangs, you can't help but smile!
To drive, the slightly lower suspension helps the Puma ST grip the mountain roads. This combined with the Michelin Pilot Sport 4s tires make it extremely grippy, particularly in the wet! This is certainly improved by the Ford Performance pack which includes and Quaife differential.
Overall, the Puma ST ticks a lot of boxes:
    - It's practical
    - It's got some great tech
    - It's fast
    - It looks fantastic.
Overall it's a great combination of practicality and fun!
We hope you enjoy our review, and many thanks for watching.

Hi John. That's brilliant to hear. I have no doubt you'll be very happy with your new car when it arrives. Since filming this I've spent some more time in the Puma and it really is a great car!
All the best with it, and please update us on how you find it once it arrives.
      Dave

@@johnwhite2143 I’ve had my Puma ST for about 7 months now and I love it. On the point of running it in, I’ve found the engine didn’t really reach it’s best until about 4K km.
