I’m an Ogryn main. I like to make my big man behave like the classes around him.
If there’s an Ogryn majority, Loud, Happy, Ready to slap around some heretics.
If there’s a Zealot majority, lots of cheering, For the Emperor-s, and my personal favorite, “If da Emprah wa-ed ya ta live, he wouldna cre-ated ME!”.
With Veterans, compliment shots, throw rocks at muties and enemy snipers, and refer to everyone as “Boss” or “Sah”.
Psyker were a bit more tricky to find a gimmick for, but I settled on their presence making my lad smarter. Throughout the mission, he would speak in longer, more eloquent sentences, before returning to his dumb happy self at the end of the mission. Occasionally, if I had grenades equipped, I’d say something along the lines of “Look! I can make things explode with ma head too!” And then throw the nade.

whenever I interact with ogryns i just tell them to not count fingers in loading screen, since thatll just make yer 'ead hurt or yell rashuns.

@@BlueSky-my7rq The flaming shotgun can do the same since it pass through enemies until it hits a terrain. Yeah, if a horde is coming at you in a straight line. That one flaming shell will be like The Emperor's gaze glancing over them.
Still, it's fun to use. Not on Higher and Auric difficulty though.

@@elgringofeo9348 The Kantrael has infinite Cleave (As I am writing this comment). Go watch "Darktide Zealot REDEEMER build" and exactly go to 8:28 of the vid. You can see a line of bulwark and Crushers burn with just one Incendiary shot. He also showed a horde coming towards him on the bridge and just lit the Heretics in one click.

The zealot character creation screen for the male judge voice selection. All the voice packs read like a paragraph of dialogue to familiarize the player with what thier new toon is going to sound like.
I might be a heretic, but I love the veteran in CC format with a knife. I just turn into a wood cutter. With pistol, it's just "smack" perfect.😅
