#7 Back to Holland and more integration with the Swedes

- How alone am I now in Sweden? And a week back to Holland by plane. I look so much forward to see my daughters, and also stay at their places. And of course to see my friends, and to give tennis and padel lessons to clients/friends.

Hi Kees-Jan, door je reactie op onze foto op Facebook kwam ik op jouw kanaal terecht. Ik heb je filmpje bekeken, wat leuk dat je vlogt! Heerlijk om via jou even de verbinding met Zweden te voelen. Mijn ouders hebben sinds 20 jaar een huisje in Värmland en Zweden voelt daardoor als mijn tweede thuis. Dit jaar ben ik er nog niet geweest en ik mis het tot in mijn kleinste cellen inmiddels. Wat een charmant plekje heb je daar, met zo'n authentiek Zweeds huisje

I did! But hard to open the door back in Sweden and nowing that they are far away then......What helps for me then is reight away reach out to people here, Dutch or Swedes. But it takes so much time to build up the level of friendship....
The Badger/grävlig we have in Sweden is not aggresive or dangerous. But they can bite if you supprise them or try to corner them. They prefer to run away. Also when they have small kids they are protective of their youngs. If you hit them with your car dont go up to them call 112 and let a hunter come out and do there job. If you do not want Badgers around your house you can put out pices of cloth soaked in perfume, they do not like strong smells.

Wow wat een mooie plek woon je. Zweden is een prachtig land en vorige maand ben ik nog bij familie geweest omgeving Bollnas.

I have lived here for 10 years and I have tried to learn Swedish and speak it but English rules for most of foreigners here in Stockholm, if you are fluent in English then you are good, most of the time. That is great that you won the tournament! Just remember Winter is Coming....
You are so true about using English, but I really wanna learn Swedish. BUT as winter is coming I spend a lot of time with preparing for the cold, like the fireplace and wood. Right now I am gonna drive to Skövde for BankID AND to buy a protection pant and boots for my chainsaw that is delivered on Wednesday 🥳
Socializen gaat al heel goed zie ik, wij houden van de Zweden. Ze zijn zo hartelijk en behulpzaam maar ….wen maar aan de Zweedse burocratie…het is niet anders. Wij hadden Personnumber en bankrekening snel voor elkaar maar hebben nu een jaar later een huis gekocht en zo’n proces is ook weer een openbaring. We gaan vanaf morgen alles weer inpakken en 1 Oktober verhuizen (omgeving Svenlunga). Kunnen we daar weer opnieuw beginnen met onze socializing😅 Leuke vlogs, keep them coming !

@@kjschuil we zijn eerst naar een huurhuis verhuisd in Zweden en na een jaar alles geregeld te hebben (id, bank, persoonsnummer etc) weten we dat we willen blijven en waar en dus hebben we nu een huis gekocht waar we 1 Oktober heen gaan😊
Outside of The Nordic countries I think people from the Netherlands are the ones that looks the most like Swedes.
Very similar in many ways. Although Dutch is not as close to Swedish as German, you will learn it quickly and probably with less heavy accent than Germans sometimes have.

@@frankeee3 and socially the Dutch has influenced Sweden via trade, trades, city planning etc.

Ja heb ik overwogen maar apparatuur was iets van €500 hier in Zweden en t bereik is maar iets van 6 m vanaf de antenne 😏
Mooi zo'n das op je pas hé ! Maar....let op want ze kunnen heel agressief zijn!
Toe ik fluisterde in de video of ze agressief zijn, keek die gelijk om whaha, maar hij keek sowieso om bij alles dat ik fluisterde. Ik denk dat ze hele goede oren hebben.
