Birmingham Alabama is one of my favourite Cities to visit I really love visiting that city it’s so cool So if you straight to Vulcan Statue there is a huge and tall Balcony if you go on top it’s so cool you will see the View of Birmingham City I’m going there this summer and I can’t believe it.
It's a out door lovers paradise it sits between bank head national forest or sipsey wilderness and Talladega nat forest. 3 hours from Smoky mtns and the white sand beaches it's huge fir kayaking has the largest kayak race in the world using it's over 20,000 Mike's of rivers and creeks. More wildlife diversity than any state. It's called the north American Amazon for a reason . Also has a new protective life stadium were USFL will kick off it's entire league holding every game there, plus UAB games in fall with Birmingham bowl closing out the season also listed in the top 22 cities to visit in 2022 per conde rast travel magazine likely because it's hosting the world games in 2022 first timein America since the 80s. Lots of investment cool new parks like city walk and it's already got so many parks. Great music food is world class recognized multiple James beard award winners. Plenty of breweries and distilleries, you can carry drinks from bar to bar or outside in entertainment districts our take a brew tour by bike or bus. It'll be a good year to come see us
Just to name a few of my favorites as a native for 6 decades: Birmingham Botanical Gardens ~ Birmingham Museum of Art ~ Vulcan Park & Museum ~ The McWane Science Center ~ The Lyric Theater ~ Cathedral, DeSoto & Rickwood Caverns . . . 🇺🇲🥰🇺🇸
I would add the Civil Rights Institute, and the whole district including Kelly Ingram Park, The 16th Street Baptist Church, the A.G. Gaston Motel, and so on. Also Vulcan Park for the views.
Well yes but rare relatively. Last "bad" one was last year but the true bad one was in 2011. Besides that stroms here are strong but you shouldn't worry.
Lol how is a zoo a great place.... I'm from south africa and nothing compars to a safari drive.. So no I'm not supporting zoos... Zoo's and circuses... I stay away from. Everything else sounds cool.
