@@ExploringwithCourtney Yeah definitely looks like a cool place. I’ve mostly visited natural history museums so visiting a museum like this would be an interesting change of pace.
@@ExploringwithCourtney Oh no I haven’t but I really want to, definitely a museum to consider. I’ve been to the ones in Albuquerque New Mexico and Phoenix Arizona as well as the Tar Pits in Los Angeles California.
Thank you for this video, heading out to Birmingham, for the weekend visiting my dad's cousin who will be 103 years old on November 17th. Haven't been to Birmingham since my teenage years. I am a history buff. So, visiting the 16th Baptist Church/Civil Rights Institute is on my to do list for Friday. Saturday will be the big celebrations and going home Sunday morning. So thanks again!
Just getting back home and had a wonderful weekend. The Civil Rights Institute had so much to read and I spend about two hours in there and still didn’t finish. The 16th Baptist Church tour was also an historic. Our tour guide was excellent. Spoke on some things I haven not heard. Thanks again for your keen advice. Until next time!
Thanks for watching! Wow road trips around the country are the best. Idk what you have planned, but I highly recommend going to White Sands National park in NM. I have a video about it on my channel if you're curious!
Great footage I live in Bham . The city is really thriving and moving forward. Did you know we have a statue of Liberty here About 1/5 the sz of the one in NY? Its good for taking pictures. Can't go inside though just a statue. I subscribed 😊
i was at the motorsports museum a few years ago, nice to know ticket prices are still the same plus indycar will be coming in a few weeks for their annual race.
thank you very much for this video, I will go to live in biirminham and I am a lover of cars and races and I did not know about the car museum, now I am very happy and anxious to visit the barber since it will be my favorite place
I'm planning to take a quick solo trip to Birmingham this week. The Civil Rights Institute was on my list, but I had no idea about the Motorsport Museum. Thank you for the suggestions.
Wow the history so similar to south Africa with the uprisings and students protests to end apartheid .I can't wait to visit Birmingham not too long from now . I have no concept of what a bad or good area is in USA since I've never been there before, but I cannot identify with people making videos saying Birmingham is the worst. It looks lovely. I'm also not oblivious to the fact that there are areas to avoid ...but to me that's everywhere in the world .and in from south Africa and I've seen rock bottom places and really bad conditions. So that's my perspective of really bad. And I just don't see that in any videos of Alabama. I look forward to my visit.
What activity looks the most fun to you?
I think the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum actually looks like a very interesting place to visit.
@@Smilo-the-Sabertooth so glad to hear you say that! It was such a cool place… I’m surprised I hadn’t heard about it before my visit :)
