How to change a rad support on a bricknose ford pickup, big job but it’s easier than you might think

This old 1987 ford pickup needs some love up front, it’s rad support where is meets the frame is pretty rotten, so let’s fix that.
In this video we go over step by step on how to change out an old rad support and instal a new clean example, extending the life of your truck and keeping it on the road.
Now this isn’t the only way to fix a rad support, I’ve welded and fabled up a few by replacing rusted sections with new, but we snagged this one up for a pretty good deal so it’s the way we went.

So I have an 87 f250 6.9, and I'm realizing all the little plates that connect the front rad support to the fenders, but can't find them all online, would you be able to have a wishlist/cart made to find these pieces?

Why did you guys paint rad support? It's my understanding (from other YTrs that the black paint they use is a primer and doesn't offer rust protection.
I am getting ready to do my 96 and was thinking of taking it to a shop to have it painted before I assemble it. My right replacement fender and the panel between the grill and bumper are both white. So I am going to have it painted before assembly.

You could paint match it but so far so good, it paint had no bleed through or rusting issues while we had it
