Mr Williams, your transmission rebuild videos are the most detailed videos on RUclips. You have taught me so much that I am considering rebuilding transmissions for people as a secondary source of income. Thank you so much for your time and effort in producing these videos. Please consider including the 6l80 transmission in your video lineup. Thanks again and I wish you well. THANKS!!!!

I’v watched these videos through at least once. and I have so much admiration and respect for Mr.Williams that there was no way I was going to buy any parts from anyone else. I went on the website to look at parts and decided to call the number in hopes of talking about my build with someone who knows what they are talking about. I was delighted to realize that he himself answered the phone! For me it was like talking to a celebrity idol hahaha. I am beyond grateful for your services sir!

How much power would you say is safe to have with the deluxe super kit in this video. I'm looking to go from a stock 7.3 motor to 450hp-500hp over the course of the next year. I will be putting a triple disc converter and upgraded valve body in both from revmax as well. I would imagine that the Transgo hd2 tugger kit would not be needed with the upgraded valve body I plan to use but I'm not sure. Thanks and this looks like a great series.

I have a suggestion for DIY'rs. Don't do what I did. Go to this guys website and purchase HIS kit. It ISN'T more expensive than other places, despite what that numbers make you think. If I had just done that, I could have saved money trying to order from here and there to cover all my bases. Just get his kit, and a rebuilt solenoid pack.

Help!!! please? my 96 F250 with 7.3 and E40D trans. I had my transmission rebuilt 3 weeks ago.
1st test drive out of shop, I took it on the highway and back toward home. It seemed to be shifting great until I put it in reverse... it shuddered in reverse.
I returned it to the shop and 2 weeks later, got it back. The mechanic said "he had to replace the pump"
Now, after highway use, I have a delay and it does not appear to fully lock into reverse and feels like it is slipping as if not fully locked into reverse.
I called the mechanic and he claims it is normal because of the transgo tugger kit he installed and the 3 disc billet torque converter they added.
I called transgo and was told in a very matter of fact way that the transmission should still engage into reverse just as it did before the rebuild.
Any input, advice will be greatly appreciated. I paid $3,800 for the rebuild and that was a huge hit on my finances. I just want peace of mind that I got everything that I paid for and knowing that I can take my truck on the road without worry.
    Thank you in advance!

Nothing like doing it yourself for bragging rights. I rebuilt a Turbo-hydromatic 350 trans many many years ago and it gave me immense personal satisfaction after it worked like new again. A mechanic you pay is not going to be as careful and care about doing as good job as you would be working on your own vehicle.
