Buy Balsa wood and make your own frame. I do this for all molds that are a bit flimsy. Balsa is relatively cheap and you can make several box sizes from one or 2 pieces
I make a housing with glue and popsicle sticks. I keep them together and don't have to mess with it ever again . Thanks for sharing your autumn inspiration 😊😮
I just take cardboard and make a simple support box, taped together ( not pretty, but effective) or prop cardboard pieces against the sides with something heavier to anchor the edges. Simple, fast, painless. I think the copper along the joins would help tie the top and bottom together. I thought the straight pour with the green and golden color organically mixing was stunning. Beautiful colors, interaction, and simplistically majestic. The stickers are cute and in the vibe of the top, but without them, the bottom is classically beautiful. Great result.
This makes me want fall to hurry up and get here. Fall and spring are my favorite seasons. Maybe I'm imagining it, but the seasons each have their own smell, fall in particular . Anyway... I like this box the way it is. Maybe you could use popsicle sticks horizontally and heavy resin bottles to place against them, so the sides of the box don't bow out. Or ask hubby to make you a permanent casing. Also, I find myself repeatedly singing the Blue Elephant song. Thanks a lot for that, Nicole. :-)
🤣🤣 it gets stuck in my head too, lol, especially when I am trying to go to sleep. You are right they do have their own scents and fall is the best. I love it so much. ❤️❤️
Its pretty, but I agree with hubby this time, I think when you added the red mushrooms it made them look like 2 different projects. If you would have had pumpkins and sunflowers to add along with the mushrooms I think it would have all blended together. Did you run out of the orange washi tape, why not go around the edges of the top with that? Thanks for sharing with us -Beverly
It turned out lovely. I recently got a tissue box mould from Temu and noticed it was bowed and would have a problem so i've got out my mould housing and fitted inside that as best I could to see if that would help. There's a small gap as the pieces are all the same size that fit it together but hopefully it will help a bit and I can use this for wonky moulds and not just for using with silicone to make the moulds. After I bought the housing from temu, the price came down so ordered another so that I can make the frames bigger so it nearly fits the tissue box and the lid. All I have to do now is pour lol
That’s a great idea. I have one not sure if it’s big enough to fit it but I’ve been wanting a second one anyway so this will just give me another reason to order one lol
@@TheBlueElephantGifts the one on Temu doesn't use clips, it has plastic fittings that slip over the top of the joins. If that's the one you have, all you need is another one then just bridge the spaces if you need to with tape x
@@evelynbrown5312 I think I got mine from Temu a while ago. It looks like the let’s resin one. That’s good to know about them coming with different fittings. I’ll have to pay attention when I get the next one. Thank you 🥰

That’s a good idea. I may have to get some and try it. Thank you so much Carolyn 🥰❤️🥰
Add the copper strips to the box. Your husband is correct
Yeah I hate it when he’s right 🤣🤣
