You are such an inspiration! I agree that there is something so satisfying about making over those thrift finds! I would love for you to see some of the thrift makeovers I have done on my channel! My husband is so sweet to ooh and aah over my makeovers, but I know he can’t truly appreciate them like someone else who does it! I’m so glad to see that you use the Zinzer shellac! I told my husband the other day that “a lady I watch on RUclips uses shellac” and the Zinzer was what I bought!
Those were some great makeovers. Too bad about that one metal mailbox but the red wagon looked so good with all that crackling. Now I’m in a dilemma at what I should do with my sheep planter. I loved the one you did white with the crackling but now you did this one that looks like it’s all rusty crusty. Can’t go back n get the other one at the store as it had a missing leg or I could have done two. I’m gonna have to think about this for a while.😆. That wreaths was the show. What a great idea! I even have a heavy duty wreath too. Just wish I had those cute itty bitty terra cotta pots. I’m gonna start hunting for some. I want to put it on my front door. Yvonne, I just want you to know how much you inspire me. I can’t get enough of watching you n you n Chris together. What a team. ♥️♥️♥️😊👍👍👍👍🌟🐈⬛🐈⬛
I don’t think you know how to make an ugly project! The mailbox reminded me of the one on my childhood home. I think my absolute favorite is the terra-cotta pot wreath! It is absolutely gorgeous.
Oh yeah! You did it! When I saw the sheep planter in your other video I fell in love with them. My Aunt and I went to 6 or 7 Dollar Generals hunting for them. No luck. So I gave up. Then a couple days later I am in my home town Dollar General and as I was walking down the aisle I thought what if I actually found them dang sheep planters. Then I turned my head to the right and staring at me were not one but two sheep planters! I think I squealed! Can’t wait to paint mine. Love your channel!
They're great! All of them are so,so good. I just wonder if you can part with the wreath? You always have a great video to watch , and love to watch you and Chris help each other and have good times together. You, are good people. God Bless you guys. Hugs, Rebekah
I had my doubts about the terracotta pot wreath, but you pulled it off! I won't doubt you again. I always love what you create and I appreciate your willingness to share your secrets..
Yvonne You are so sweet and talented. I am from Southern Indiana and have been watching you for a few months now, trying to go back and watch all of you and Chris. You both are so informative and I admire what you both do! Thank you!!😊❤
I hate to tell uou this, I do not have a favorite, I love them all. You & Chris do beautiful work on all your projects. Do hope you're feeling much better. So glad to see you're back.
I think I need to move to Michigan so I can shop your booths every day!!! I love all these makeovers, but my favorites are the sheep planter and the terra cotta wreath. So beautiful
The jar came out beautifully!🎉 The mailbox gave you a fit but it’s cute!❤ Oh, my heart! The birds are precious! And in a plastic frame!😊 I like the design of the 2nd mailbox!😮 Cinnamon! I would have never thought! So pretty!🎉 The terra cotta pot wreath is precious!😊 Thanks for sharing!❤
Everything was so cute tonight I love those mailboxes. I’m thinking about finding one and using it as Christmas decor with my Christmas cards hanging out of it.
Yvonne, I keep a taken apart clothespin in my craft room. I use the bottom beveled flat edge to scrap off fussy labels. Doesn’t leave a scratch, and saves on my nails. So are so enjoyable to watch!
Well I have to say THE SHEEP was my favorite however they all were great! I told you I found 2 of the sheep planters and I made them over using the exact products you did and followed your instruction to the T. I was so happy with the way they turned out. I got chippy/crazing (it was my first time using milk paint) I gifted one to my sister since she was with me on the mission to find the planters. She loved it so much. She is not a crafter but we are thrifting buddies so MAYBE I'll talk her into being a crafting buddy also. Yvonne THANK YOU so much for sharing what you do in such detail it helps me so much!!
Oh wow that first mail was a puzzle. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful everything. I loved that you did the clay pot wreath. One year the director of our bazaar had me make one of those. Another thing to ensure the pots staying snug as a bug in a rug, is tying the twine through and around the vine layers. That wreath form seemed a bit to tightly wrapped 😅. Anyway have wonderful week.😊❤
What a lovely way to show off some of your terracotta pots it is lovely, I like the colour of the cinnamon on the planter and a great easy way to achieve a rusty finish , great projects as usual 😊❤
Yvonne, you can always use a plastic razor blade with your lemon oil to remove the stickers, then you will save your manicure 💅 The wreath is my absolute favorite!
Loved all these projects! Every single one is beautiful but the wreath is so amazing! You nailed it! I’m inspired to go look for terra cotta pots! That wreath could live on our sunroom door, which is inside, all year long! Just perfection! 🫶🏻🤍
Love the terracotta pot wreath. The moss set it off. I was thinking earlier in the video that you needed to leave some terracotta pots for your neighbors, lol
Oh my goodness, so many favorites! That sheep planter, I’ve got to find one, the terracotta wreath is beautiful, I love terracotta as well! The cinnamon idea was genius. Great job!
I have to say, I love that green DIY paint that you used on the lids of the two small canisters, and I like how the polyacrylic doesn't darken the color the way the waxes do, I think the green looks better being that lighter color.💕
Yes maam! Another peaceful, relaxing early morning drinking coffee and waching my favorite RUclips channel! As always! Wonderfully interesting and inspiring video of bringing beauty to ordinary items! They're all gorgeous! I just can't get over the sheep planter...my favorite! The Terra Cotta wreath is you, Yvonne! Can hardly wait to see it hanging up! ❤
I have a collection of small and tiny terracotta pots that I have been wanting to make a wreath with. Thank you for sharing your process. It is so cute! I LOVED the way the sheep planter turned out. Now I really have to find one!
@@GingerChickRehab You said something lately on one of your posts that you wanted a set of round boxes for the diy paint. I have a set of 5 I wanted to send you. They are just sitting in my craft room doing nothing. Do I use the PO box listed?
Ohhhh those birds! And the sheep, and everything! You consistently knock it out of the park in every vid. Your creations are always so unique and amazing. Thank you!
You persevered and the first little mail box planter turned out really nice. The “cast iron” looking sheep planter was perfect and the terra cotta wreath was also great. Another great video!!
The frame on the bird picture looks awesome!! Loved the cow pot...looks so good with the greenery in it. The terracotta wreath looks so country!! Love it! Thanks for sharing your day!!
Oh for the love of terracotta !! love the wreath, I found a terracotta pot windchime at GW , another cute way to use them and they sound so sweet. Thank you for sharing, felt like old times , making over thrifted finds . Your hair looks beautiful, no way does it look any less. Take care

If you mist the moss just slightly it isn’t so brittle and messy.
Sweet pot wreath

It was.. no weaving in it.. I tried. But a viewer suggested zip ties.. that would have worked to tighten them too
Yvonne you are so talented and such a sweet person. You take anything and make it gorgeous!
Loved them all. Sheep and the terra tera pot wreath
The Terra cotta wreath is adorable ❤ the cinnamon sheep were REALLY cute!!!
