Gotta say your method is alot easier to follow so I'll be reaching out when I get ready to cast off thanks for sharing 😊 greetings from Long Island happy holidays
Thank you Granny!!!! I can do this. If you only knew how how badly i was misunderstanding this step. When i first got my loom, I cast on fine...no worries...did 2 rows and then tried to cast off. I was trying to make the stitch stretch all the way to the next peg!!! Somehow i did that and i was looking at this ribbon i had made and it all started unraveling! Lol. I had bought the yarn already so I cast back on and just kept making it bigger and bigger. I think i thought the rapture would come and some poor freezing person would find the blanket and know how to finish it. My first loom was a Martha Stewart one and i kept losing pegs. Walmart has an infinity loom with pegs that dont come out. My colors are pink, gray, and white. I used the bulky baby blanket yarn too and my plan was to use it in our RV. Thank you and God Bless You Sister!
Thank you for this. I struggle every time I have a blanket to do. The others that I've seen it gets tight when I have to move to the next peg. Your a blessing.
Oh man I have a set of round and a set of rectangular looms. This one had me scared. I was in the process of knitting with two needles 3 different blankets. I met a gentleman on here and I watched him do a rectangular loom and I told him it looked faster than my knitting needles. He wrote me back and said I could make all 3 blankets for the time it took me with two needles on one. So I have not looked back since I got my looms. I make various lapghans for nursing home my mother in law was in. So many elderly are cold in the summer from the air conditioner so I started making the lapghans for those sitting in a wheel chair. They are thrilled when they get one. Thanks for the video you are a joy to listen to.
You did a really great job on your video, and I really love using this super stretchy bind off also, and your blanket looks very cute and I’m sure this blanket will keep the baby nice and warm💝
It was truly a pleasure watching your video. Not only was it informative it just was wonderful to hear your voice. I heard and saw everything including Otis. God bless you and thank you for stopping smoking I want to see you and your talents for many more years to come.❤❤❤
Thankyou lets the best learning instructions l seen on utube step by step and repeating as you go along this has really helped me as l new to the loom knitting this was a great help.
Thank you ma'me for posting this, I'm new to looming, most only show samples of what to do , where as you show exactly how to do it..😊.. mine is the exactly the same as urs but green, (although I really wanted a pink one 😛😁could only get the green at the moment) 🤓 Watching ur videos on this loom I understand a lot more now .. Thank you again ❤ From Ontario 🇨🇦..Many Blessings send your way. Ma'me 💗😁
Those looms are clever...❤ Otis is interested too. Ya know what granny, I think we'll see Bob Ross in Heaven. Nice blanket granny, always a pleasure to spend time with you and Otis 😊
Good day to you Val, thank you for sharing this video with me.I truly appreciate it,as it's very relaxing 😌 and peaceful 🕊️.I sincerely hope that you are feeling well ❤️🩹 and hope for you all 🙏💝.
OmG 😊 I just found your channel and you are amazing. And PLEASE keep up the videos they really help and put a smile on my face. I was told to find a hobby to help with my anxiety and depression, so with me having no experience in anything to do with yarn… I bought the knitting machine, that S Loop thing and some crochet hooks. I must admit- you could-star Otis is so adorable, and should be in more sequels LOL
Does it involve any pearl stitches at the beginning or is it just one stitch i brought my my about 2 years ago and I've not quite used it. But now my daughter in law and son are expecting there first child i would like to use it to make my grandson or granddaughter a blanket from my loom. Sorry hello your blanket is beautiful
Just one stitch for mine. There are different methods. I just used the one. I'm going to try to do a video on casting on. Same blanket yarn. Thank you for watching 😌
I always make blankets with this Benart baby blanket yarn. I use the straw with it. I tie my next yarn onto the piece that’s in the straw and pull through. Thank you for the cast off tutorial. I am never good at that part.
WOW!!!! I was wondering how to use the loom your video makes me even more curious. I have the sentro but I think I'm going to purchase the loom....thank you so very much for sharing your blanket turned out beautiful🩷💜🩷💜🩷💜🩷💜🩷💜
These are measurements that blankets I want to try to make are. I’m completely new and don’t have great hand dexterity. 36-by-36 inches for baby blankets, 42-by-60 inches for children's blankets and 45-by-72 inches for teen blankets. (Linus project) how do you measure on the S loom?
I really didn't measure mine. The baby blanket I used half the loom and I did a small throw blanket I used a whole loom. My loom was the 55" loom. I will have to look into measurements. Thank you for asking. And thank you for watching 😊

I just found your channel and I am new to looming. How long did it take you to make the baby blanket?
It actually took me a month but I didn't work on it everyday. I'm sure it would take less time if you work on it everyday. Thank you for watching 🙂

@@ValShell-us8li thank you im from the uk i will be watching for your video on how to cast on
How do you cast the blanket on loom knitting I’m left-handed
You can use a thicker straw that will fit between the pegs. Also, my straw is short; using a tall straw tends to make the yarn go very slowly.
Thank you 😊 I will look into that. Thank you so much 😊
You're so sweet, my country pumpkin!
😅 Thank you sweetie 😊God Bless you 😊 ❤️ 🙏
Best video I ever for a beginning idiot like me..
Don't say that about yourself. Everyone starts out a beginner. They get better 😊. Thank you for watching 😊

How do you keep the inside end from curlingor getting so tight you can't move the yarn
@cindyspeir1268 don't wrap it so tight around each peg. I try to do a video on a small loom I'm working on to show you.
Awesome
