    • @Shayna_Lynn
      @Shayna_Lynn  2 месяца назад

      Most people I follow they just decide when they are done. With the infinity loom it measures 60in so you could go to 90in and get close to a twin size blanket.

    Hi Shaynalynn, in your opinion, is crocheting a blanket the traditional way will be faster than using a (kb afghan loom) to make a blanket? also, how long will it take to make a full-size blanket crocheting it the traditional way?

    • @Shayna_Lynn
      @Shayna_Lynn  2 месяца назад

      I think crocheting is faster. When I started crocheting I made a lap size granny square blanket in 3 days. I’ve been working on a new blanket on my loom since the beginning of the year and I only have a skein and a quarter of a new skein on. But I take breaks with my loom. I think tomorrow through Friday I’m going to see how much I can get on with just focusing on my loom. Sorry for the rant 😂😂

    Hi ShaynaLynn, I want to try the (kb afghan loom), but I will be a beginner at loom knitting. After using this loom do you feel that it is too time consuming for any level of experience with loom knitting? Do you think the round and rectangular looms are better than an afghan loom for any knitting projects?

    • @Shayna_Lynn
      @Shayna_Lynn  Год назад

      Yes I still feel like it is time consuming. I don’t knit but I crochet and I feel like crochet goes faster. But I think my next project on this loom is going to be a scarf. I have not tried the other one but I would say they would be faster. This one is mainly meant for a blanket and I think that’s why it takes so long

    • @leticiagarcia2159
      @leticiagarcia2159 Год назад

      @@Shayna_LynnI love loom knitting but I feel that the Afghan loom would not be for me because it would be a time consuming just to maneuver and trying to knit different stitches but am going to recommend the flexee loom links ( 2 peg links ) they come in three different gauge sizes, they’re from the same brand KB and inexpensive, make big or small knitting looms just connect them and you are set to knit plus they also have three peg links for when your pattern calls for odd number of stitches, let’s say you have a pattern that requires 41 pegs, you would need 19 two peg links and only 1 three peg link and that would make your 41 peg knitting loom.

      @@Shayna_Lynn you will not regret it if you get them, i just finished a pair of gloves that i knit on the skinny flexee loom links, something that was on top of my list but could not do it on the regular looms not the way I wanted it, I also knit a beret hat in one piece, again something that was impossible on the regular looms because on the regular looms once knitted and remove from the loom you need to stitch together the sides to complete your hat if it is a beret hat, the decreases ( removing links ) is what made it possible to be knitted in one piece.

    This might be an odd question is this entire blanket an ewrap
    I started a blanket sith 3m yarn and the way I've been doing it is sets of five and so the first two rows are e-wrap and purl stitch and then the last three rows are just completely wrap and it has made kind of like this boxy pattern everywhere I've looked people are like no you can't just use an e-wrap for a blanket but I don't understand why like wouldn't it just be a square blanket

    My issue is nobody ever shows that your supposed to unhook the yarn 🧶 from the legs at some point after u complete a loop and cross those loops with the medal tool. I went around my loom like 20 times wondering why my blanket haven’t dropped yet after weeks 😂 at some point ur supposed to lift it off the pegs.. and even in this video it fast forwards to a full blanket skipping this part.
