Sergey, I think the 2 girls working at the cafe is Indonesian because their name is more Indonesian. That's why she said she likes Indonesian food.
By the way the food you eat at the cafe is Japanese/Korean fusion food I think because they used udon/ramen. The noodles is different in Malaysia. You can try Malaysian traditional noodles such as laksa Penang, laksa curry, fried noodles, hokkien noodles, and do many more type of noodles/kueyteow/meehon.
Go to kampung baru to taste the local Malay food. Asked the local for direction, they are likely to help you the way to go.

while in Malaysia, you should try authentic Malaysian food. like nasi lemak (nasional dish), nasi kandar, roti canai, char kuey teow, martabak, asam laksa, kek lapis sarawak, teh tarik, mamak fried noodles, apam balik, nasi kerabu, ayam percik, roti john, ramli burger, malaysian rendang, popia basah, otak-otak, tepung pelita, satay, satar, kaya toast, ABC, wontan mee and many more... yes we are multiracial... so there is indeed fusion food here.

It's just cultural, hahaha. Some people don't have the culture that eats horses, hence their comments. For some people, it's similar to someone eating dog or cat' meat, as horses are considered pets as well in certain areas.
Also when you ask the Malay ladies about the food, the noodles with dumplings you eat aren't Malay food but Chinese food. Malay people in Malaysia are Islams so they are a bit restricted in terms of food options as they have to usually go for Halal Certified Food (or at least those without non-halal ingredients). Nowadays, there are more and more other races food that try to cater more for Malay people and try to get Halal certifications but it's still a bit rare.
Malaysia is not only multicultural locally but also very open to other international cuisines so we love to eat a lot of varieties of food including Japanese, Korean, Western, etc.
The thing you buy on the roadside while raining is called "Sarang Burung" which translates to "Bird Nest". It just basically a famous Malaysian dish Roti Canai/Pratha that is shaped into a nest shape and adding 2 eggs on top. There's no meat inside usually but this one seems to have minced beef with it. Its definitely tastier if you eat its freshly cooked (hot) with curry or dhall sauce.

@CrazyRussianSergey Interesting video about Malaysian food which looks quite tasty. About the water bottle you couldn’t open at first: I was surprised to see the bottle cap on the water bottle. These bottle caps were standard here for most bottled drinks until maybe the end of the 1970‘s. You would find them on basically all beer bottles, beverages and fruit juices, water bottles and even milk bottles, but never on drinks like Coke, Pepsi and all the other unhealthy American stuff I stopped drinking long time ago.
Today you will still find these bottle caps on more traditional oriented beer brands and beverages, something I like very much. So not everything is one-way bottle caps!

Malaysia is a humane capitalist country, but we are really sad at the western capitalist sanctions on Russians, since its a problem for you to pay cashless. Since Malaysia is now a BRICS partner, hopefully the next time you come here, you can use BRICS pay to pay cashless direct debit from your Russian bank card.

@@CrazyRussianSergey you can try plain version also. Normally sold at Indian Muslim restaurant that opens 20-22 hours daily. We call the restaurant as "Mamak".
You can recognize these shops easily, normally the signboard is bright colour
They sell Malaysian-version of Indian-inspired dishes and they normally open throughout the day until late at night.
The plain version called Roti Canai Kosong (plain) only costs less than RM2/pc.
Then there's many other varieties such as egg roti, sugar roti, sardine roti etc
They also sell mixed rice called Nasi Kandar which is popular too and fried noodles/fried rice.
If you want tea without milk, you need to add the letter 'O'.
Example: Teh means tea with milk.."teh O" means tea with sugar.."teh O kosong" means tea without sugar & milk. If u want cold version just add "ice"

Most nationalities are welcome to visit Malaysia up to 3 months without any Visa.
Example: EU, US up to 90-days. ASEAN countries nationals up to 30-days visa free, same as Russian.
You will need to leave the country before this period, otherwise will be considered as Overstayed. But you can always go to other country first, then return to Malaysia again (up to 180 days in a year)
Nomad visa is different programme. You need to apply for long term visa (2-3 years) and have certain requirements.
