    I use brahmi in my rice water treatments, and I also partner brahmi with henna, cassia, and aloe Vera powder as an occasional hair treatment.

    • @i3abikay
      @i3abikay 6 лет назад +1

      Kelli K. Baptist do you strain the powders or leave it in the mixture?

    • @justKKB
      @justKKB 6 лет назад +4

      i3abikay it depends on which one you mean. The henna/cassia/aloe Vera powder/fenugreek mask, no straining. The rice water, yes. After it's fermented I strain and just use the liquid. I do rice water between my shampoo (or clay wash) and conditioner.

    • @deirdregaskin465

      Deirdre I use Brown rice too--from my research it doesn't matter.

    • @i3abikay
      @i3abikay 6 лет назад

      Kelli K. Baptist sorry for confusion. I was wondering about the brami in the rice water. So you strain the rice first and then add the powder or add the powder in with rice and water, and then strain after it ferments?

    Great Work, intelligently done as always. Thank you for your sharing, I'm sure a lot of work goes in to your presentations. Long story short I'm 69.3 years old. Post menopausal and have the family gene of Androgenic Alopecia. Couple that with 67.9 years of NOT knowing nor understanding my hair. I just did what I saw other people do. Perm it and cut it. switch back and forth between straight & natural. Having short hair all my life at 68.9 years I decided to grow my hair out. Decimated crown and all. Since September 2016 I made a LOT of mistakes some exacerbated the alopecia issue. Took me 1.2 year's to learn MY SCALP and how to "appreciate" my thin 4c++ (lol). BAM! In comes Ayurveda and PATIENCE. Now people are surprised that I'm beginning to grow in edges and recover my hair even in the smooth places the DHT left on my scalp. Thanks!!~!!

      MyNaturalChoice. Kindly share how your journey is progressing as far as increased or faster hair growth. After nearly a year I'm about to give up. I did a big chop about last fall or so and my twa remains very much a "twa". I'm older and I know that hair growth slows down with age but this is ridiculous. I've been changing over to using more essential oils and various ayurvedic products. I just used bentonite clay for the first time because I felt that having never used a clarifyer or detoxifyer it was about time I did. I'm very disappointed that I did not experience any improved curl pattern like so many others claim. Please, would you share your experiences with your hair? How long is it and is it 4B-4C? Thank you.

    Hello Green Beauty. I've been watching natural hair care videos for about 10 months. Your name has come up, but this is the first time I'm watching one of your videos. I have to agree with everyone else, that you share a great deal of very helpful info, particularly on ayurvedic hair treatments. I've subbed and liked this video and will be watching your past and coming videos. May I also say that you have one of, if not the most beautiful voices for doing tutorials. It is pure ecstasy to listen and learn from you. Thank you so much for all you do.

    What do you know about Burlington power and how is it used? You are so good about explaining how each herb works and how to use them.
