    This is one of your BEST episodes ever!! And with your quality of videos, that's saying a lot! It seems that slowing down in releasing episodes has improved the relaxed feel of your videos, and we can soak in the places you visit more. You continue to be an inspiration for budding creators like us! 😁
    Also, we really understand what you mean about people over 'enhancing' pictures and videos of many places. If something online or in print looks unnaturally colorful or vibrant, it probably is.

    I love Utah, my favourite State of the Four Corners. I visited for the first time in 1989, when Moab was a sleepy slickrock town with great character. I've camped in my tent at Slickrock Campground several times, on the North side of town. There's so much to explore in this whole area, hiking, climbing, mountain biking, off roading. Can't get enough. Sadly, Moab has grown, its too commercial, lost its character, thats progress ? Goblin Valley has a slot loop, Wild Horse and Bell, its a really fun hike too ! Love you guys, your enthusiasm is infectious,so look forward to your postings. Oldtimer Englishman reliving past adventures with you now.

      Unfortunately you’re right. Eventually places like Moab and Sedona will be super developed and the ultra wealthy will buy up the land or develop it. It’s sad. It’s land that should remain empty, wild and free forever. But people need their trendy coffee shops, gas stations and restaurants, apartments etc

    • @martinforrester8249
      @martinforrester8249 6 месяцев назад

      @@NW918 But do they ? Or are these things imposed, just to make money? I can remember so many towns that have suffered the same fate, within the Southwest.

      @@martinforrester8249 I was being sarcastic. Humans should let a good thing be left alone and just enjoy it and leave nothing behind. But so many of these privileged yuppies need these things to feel good and then we see our beautiful lands being taken over by the same boring and dull corporate developments and also parking lots, more roads etc. permanently altering a beautiful unique landscapes not found anywhere else on earth. It’s a tragedy to say the minimum

    • @AdventuresofAplusK
      @AdventuresofAplusK  6 месяцев назад +1

      Totally agree with both of you about Moab. It's a bummer how commericalized it has become. It's unfortunate, but it's just the way it is.

We moved from San Francisco to Utah in the winter of 2019 and we've done a ton of exploring but mostly in the Northern half of the state so I am LOVING seeing your off-the-beaten-path videos of Southern Utah. I'm excited to explore more down there over the next few years. You're a great resource! Completely agree about Southern Utah's scenery. My friend and I did a big Road Trip through Arizona, Utah, and a side quest to Colorado for Mesa Verde NP. The scenic drives through Southern Utah were incredible and the Grand-Staircase drive will always stick out to me. The Bentonite Hills look so cool, they remind me a little of the Painted Desert area near Petrified Forest NP but on a much grander scale.

    We visited most of those places last fall(2023) moonscape was my favorite. So many Epic spots! You should put Moki Dugway and Muley Point on your bucket list for your next visit! We spent 3 weeks in Utah and didn’t make a dent in it. So Much Beauty! My husband did a drone video of me driving our rig thru those arches in the Red Canyon.

      So much to see and do out there! We made a video at Moki Dugway and Muley Point a few years ago. Super cool spot! Thanks for watching! I bet that shot was great!

    Thanks for all the good info for Utah visits. We just got back today from a week in Moab & Bryce National Park. Moab area was our favorite . We drove down Shafer trail very very cool experience. Met some nice people at different overlooks who have been to these parks more than 10 x . Some on their motorcycles others in camper vans. Can't wait to go again ,there's so many trails to go explore.

      We'd love to do the Shafer Trail some time! Need a more capable vehicle though. So much to do there, you could never be bored!

    You did RAGBRAI?! I didn't know. My wife has done Ragbrai 30 times and counting. As you know, it is a week long non-race bike ride that has a carnival feel to it as local people line the streets and cheer you as you pass through their small rural towns. Fun and challenging... especially on days with headwinds, rain or hot & humid. The secret to making it from the Missouri River to the Mississippi is getting started early and enjoying yourself with breaks along the way. Last year was the 50th anniversary and instead of 15 to 20K riders, there were nearly 50 thousand riders... crowded but fun!

      Yep we rode last year and it was awesome! One of the most fun experiences we’ve ever done! We have a whole video on it. 30 times…wow! We can’t wait to do it again!

I watched this while drinking my morning coffee from my A&K mug ☕️. Last weekend we went to Silver Falls State Park and your video of it was quite helpful as a guide so thanks again!

      @@AdventuresofAplusK Drone are super cool but the only thing I don't like is how much smaller and farther away it makes things look. Might be time for me to upgrade to the Air3 with that 70mm lens....💸

    You guys do a great job. Our paths 😊probably passed in April. We did a different slot canyon in the Swell. Too many people in Little Wild Horse. We’ll being doing multiple Bentonite Hills sites this coming week. I hope I don’t need to check with ATC before launching down Cow Dung Road. The last time we were in there we actually saw 3 people in space suits driving OHV’s as we passed them on the bumpy road. Checking your camera gear, it’s the same except we shoot with Nikon. Didn’t want to get all new lenses. Thanks for sharing your adventures. 😀👍

      @AdventuresofAplusK  6 месяцев назад +1

      Awesome! Maybe so! We didn't have to get any approval to fly the drone. There were so many in the air. That's pretty wild to see people in space suits!

    Great video! River road is one of my favorite roads to drive on. There is a natural spring where you can fill up for water as you enter River Road. Sandy beach is a great place to have lunch, and one of the best places to learn to roll on a kayak. Thanks for putting a lot of thoughts and research in your videos. If you guys do come back, look into Coyote Gulch. I think you guys would really enjoy that hike:)

      So much to see out there! We’d love to do Coyote Gulch but we’d have to board Kona and we try to limit it. It’s been on our list for a long time! That spring water is clutch! Wish we had a way to get it into our tanks. We have to fill with a hose
      Thanks for watching!
