Thanks for making this video is explains very well.
I've just assembled a Backwater swomp lite kit with a Predator 670 engine and am about to fire it up this weekend for the first time.

One wire to the disconnect low oil sensor. The wire to the engine, use an existing bolt on the engine is the easiest thing to do.

So basically you just unplugged the low oil sensor connector and plugged in the kill switch wire into the low oil sensor wire instead?

So can you split into the oil sensor wire, and have the sensor still functional? Obviously kill switch grounded.

The oil sensor is going to be bypassed, and the kill switch will take its place. You don't want an outboard cutting out on you during rough seas because the oil sensor is on. That would suck!

I just luckily stumbled across your video fixing the surge on my predator 660. I am having surge issues while running the motor I adjusted the low speed screw and now it starts and idles great haven't tried running it but soon. I also saw the video about the kill switch and am wondering if you just leave the low oil sensor wire disconnected completely or is it connected to the kill switch?

@@martyb3141 Just disconnect, and take out of the loop.
      I'm glad the video helped!

Been trying to get one of these motors for a long time, Chinese embassy can't get them at this present time, it's for a
    6 wheel rebuild.
Are you satisfied with the 670?

It is a great motor for the price! I installed an ungraded carb from Mikuni and tuning was alot easier and throttle response was better.
      Kit can be purchased below:
