Man that is slow. You can hit 60 on a gas minibike at a fraction of that cost.
That is true....it's nice cruising in the neighborhood without drawing a lot of attention. I have modded a few Doodle bug DB30's with predator engines and they are faster with more torque off the line. For people that aren't good with carb tuning the electric option is good for them.

Not sure if I missed or you didn’t say, but much do you weigh so I can compare
I hover between 205 to 210 pounds. I have had myself and my 90 pound son on it at the same time and still reach 25mph on a full charge. Almost 300 pounds on it and it still moves out very well. It's definitely being speed limited by the controller.

How did the film hold up after extended use? Heat issues? And did the amber color help more in muddy water?
It will reduce amps and voltage it may get stuck...a cold cut saw will have full voltage and amps with low rpm
Hi Paul, I'm retired Honda Master auto tech and though I could share a hack. Reynolds wrap sells packs of individual wraps. Put your rags under filter , then put Reynolds wrap under filter and route outside cowling and you should have near or zero mess. We used this hack on Honda cars every day
Hi Paul , great video. Wanted to give a hack for getting the fuel lines off when stuck. Move clamp back as yo did, then take your needle nose or pliers and put on top of fuel line, apply pressure as you turn up and down or side to side. Don't clamp too hard as you can damage the line.
So that helps to open/expand the hose end as you twist and pull apart. I think I am picking up what you're puttin down! Thanks for stopping by to give a quick tech tip!
@thepauldixonOC I probably didn't give a good visual as I'm limited to how many characters I can use. I'll use two comments to explain better. The fuel line is sticking to the plastic nipple on the filter. After sliding off the clamp place the jaws of pliers over the hose where the clamp was. Apply enough pressure from jaws to give SLIGHT bite into hose. Twist up and down on hose while if hose is in horizontal position or side to side if hose in vertical position while holding filter. This will will break the seized hose free from nipple. One it breaks free remove pliers and then pull off hose by hand and it should be WAY easier than force pulling it off. What can happen when force pulling off in can break reinforcement strands in-between layers of fuel hose. Hope this was more clear. Happy boating !

Thanks for posting. The aluminum shaft is a deal breaker for me. I think I'll stick to a Minn Kota and add an after market wireless controller that simply attaches th the shaft with a collar.
At first I was impressed by the tank like build of it, but the shaft should have more flex incase to hit timber and things. Yeah Minn Kota is still the better way to go!
Sorry about the quality on some of the video, not sure if this is an exporting issue or it's a video file problem.
Just a small thing that will help is before you drill that main hole, sand the molded warning and text down flat so you can get a really flush mounting surface to seal it up better.

Paul I had to replace my fuel lines when I was having a problem with my outboard. There is a small plastic sleeve inside the fuel line that deterates over time which cause issues replace your fuel lines with new ones.
The short premade fuel lines do have a liner. The fuel line I have doesn't have the liner. Glad you found the issue, thanks for watching!

So would this be equivalent to a 50cc or maybe a 100cc mini bike then? Doesnt seem to have any pick up
I would say equivalent to a 125cc, i have had many 196cc bikes and they pull alot harder. Also, i have a 200cc w/4 speed and it doesnt even compare to it. Power is smooth and it picks up really well between 10-25mph
Another factor is I am 210lbs, if was around 170lbs it would probably feel more peppy from a stop.
25mph is extremely slow. You can literally buy one of these for $399 that is 200 cc that will get you up to 55 mph. The electric bike you are looking at in this video cost $1500.
@@MountainEagle77except when you live in California. I would got one of those Chinese gas bikes however I live in the most sissy state of them all. Can’t ship small engined vehicles

None, just remove the battery.
Maybe next time I will get some eater catfish, I don't care for the large one.

Green works mini bike or ego mini bike?
Ego has a higher top end speed, smaller tires though. Less capable for offroad. Greenworks has bigger tires for offroad, slower. Maybe somebody can chime in that has driven both of them.

Not a stiff ride, but the rear needs more suspension travel. Found some shocks that might work off of Amazon. I don't think anyone is selling a direct fit replacement at this time.

Bought a brand new Suzuki 30 hp in 2018. I’ve done my own annual maintenance, including oil and gear oil changes every fall before winter storage. I replaced the prop in 2023 due to a spun hub. Still runs great. Very pleased with the performance.

It only needs one battery to run
It pulls power equally when two batteries are present..parallel circuit
When i rode mine, the battery displayed i was almost out after 16 miles. However, only one battery was drained, and the other still had a full charge. It left me a little confused. I switched their locations, and with only one battery, it would only crawl to 5 mph.
Two batteries supposed to get you a 20 mile range.......that is weird. Yeah, the batteries are not displaying correctly for sure. @@robertgarrido6196

Performance670.com wants $360 for the kit, you still don't get the throttle cable or choke cable, or the air filter. Not a true bolt on kit if you can't control it. This is an old video from over 2 years ago when I had the Predator 670, I forgot why I even put my kit together. Yeah, you can save a about $100 if you look hard online.
I don’t see a kit? All I see is 3 different size carbs for sale.
