We bought ours early from Tractor Supply, may have been the first ones to purchase from our location- they still gave us 10% off our entire purchase that day so with feed and some other stuff we ended up saving like $350 on the bill for the day. I’m not mad about the $1000 price cut just bc we got ours with no shop wear or dings etc on it since it was so fresh. We absolutely love the thing and it’s found quite a spot in the household fleet of electric rides. Good to see some other people enjoying theirs too, I think these bikes have a bright future in mods ahead of them.
Just took mine out for a late ride. The torque is amazingly good. I have e-bikes, modified and not modified & this thing is a hoot. I figure that with a different controller, that motor should be able to do 30-35 mph. I was running the hills at full throttle and felt no motor heat afterwards 👍🏼. Good buy for sure.
Hey thanks for the video I got mine a couple days ago a lot of fun but I was wondering if you had any problems with the display screen showing the battery signal strength going up and down and not reading accurately
Problem is that you hold the brake to change the bike to a "Ready" state. You could wire the brake switch to a manual switch. Keep on to make the bike "Ready" and then turn off the brake, essential make is a constant open loop circuit. That should bypass it and then the brake and throttle could be engage at the same time. Also, I believe the bike has a speed governor. Going on a flat straight away it goes 25mph, down a slight grade it goes 25mph. Speed controller seems to be limiting the topend. Also, the low end torque I am sure is being limited to give a smooth gradual torque curve.
I am use to gas powered mini bikes and going to electric is just a different feeling. Still love the gas powered bikes also. Thanks for stopping by to watch. Posting a few other vids, have some mods in mind that I would like to share.
Of course, now that you bought this...BUY THIS!! If you add up the cost of the batteries and dual charger, I only paid like $200 for the bike. Getting this on sale is a great deal. Thanks for stopping by to watch!
Can’t wait to start modding this thing. Already have plans to drop in my Sur-Ron battery. Would love to upgrade the suspension as well. The shocks SUCK!
I hover between 205 to 210 pounds. I have had myself and my 90 pound son on it at the same time and still reach 25mph on a full charge. Almost 300 pounds on it and it still moves out very well. It's definitely being speed limited by the controller.
When i rode mine, the battery displayed i was almost out after 16 miles. However, only one battery was drained, and the other still had a full charge. It left me a little confused. I switched their locations, and with only one battery, it would only crawl to 5 mph.
Not a stiff ride, but the rear needs more suspension travel. Found some shocks that might work off of Amazon. I don't think anyone is selling a direct fit replacement at this time.
@@thepauldixonOC really hoped to ride it for groceries or gym runs. Or just have fun on country roads. If they could add some engine sound through the speakers it would be more interesting
Ego has a higher top end speed, smaller tires though. Less capable for offroad. Greenworks has bigger tires for offroad, slower. Maybe somebody can chime in that has driven both of them.

What controller can you use to get it up to 30-35 mph?
Nice! I got the same deal for $999, great deal and it’s a really nice bike

@@wesavelawns2406 Havent seen that issue, if you are on the throttle then the battery percentage will drop and show a temporary deop
There’s probably a motor cut-off switch that you can disconnect at the front brake. Then you can do a burn 🔥 out.

@@thepauldixonOC ahh, forgot that “ready” signal..
I'm going to put on a rear rack. I'm looking at the one for a Coleman minibike. Will have to adapt a little bit.
I would like to buy a Greenworks electric chainsaw and make a side mount for it. Would be handy for clearing trails while on the go.@@gjjm123

Yeah, the shocks do suck! What's up with that battery? Thanks for stopping by to watch.
Looks cool!
Have you driven it on any steeper slopes? i life in PA in some hills and im not sure if it could handle it?
Nope, no big inclines for a sustained time. Not sure how it will do.
Date: 5/14/2024 BACK ON SALE FOR $999 RIGHT NOW!
Have you used it with 5000 mah batteries or even lower? I'm just curious on the runtime
Nope, I only have the batteries it came with.
Not sure if I missed or you didn’t say, but much do you weigh so I can compare

Does it stop for you when one of the batteries is drained?
It only needs one battery to run
It pulls power equally when two batteries are present..parallel circuit

Two batteries supposed to get you a 20 mile range.......that is weird. Yeah, the batteries are not displaying correctly for sure. @@robertgarrido6196
That looks like such a stiff ride. Can you make the suspension softer?

Made in China…hard pass.
There is only a few small negatives to the bike, that being one of them. Could you comment on any good USA electric mini bikes please?
@@thepauldixonOC I guess my point is we are feeding China’s economy $$$$ and they are our 💯 enemy. It’s a huge negative for me.
