Look for 2 black wires coming out near the bottom of the engine. These are connected to the coils. Trace them from the spark plug if you have trouble. When either of these wires are grounded, it should kill the engine. So, wire black wire to tab or post on key switch marked M, for magneto, or some are labeled IGN. Either way, when the key is off this should ground the coils, killing the engine. Test the black wire by grounding to the frame or other suitable ground. If this test kills the engine, check all your ground connections for tight connection and good conduct to clean bare metal. Gotta have a good ground or nothing will work right.
Trying to wire a kill switch for mud motor. Can’t use the oil sensor as that’s off the motor can I splice into the red and black so when I hit the button it senses the keys turned off?
The yellow one was supposed to go to the solenoid in the carb to open the gas flow. The red one is coming from the stator to send power back to the battery for charging while its running.
If you still don’t have it touch the wire with the circle on it and the wire with the connector thing that hooks up to the starter solenoid together trust me it scared the shit out of me when they accidentally touched
Thank you! Im putting a 459 on my grandmas and could it it to crank but couldn’t get spark
I’ve got a gator with the same motor swap but having issues starting it. How’d you wire it to the gator?
Giant battery makes a giant difference. Starts faster and easier
Needed that, thanks 🤘
Hello, I have a question, although I have made all the connections correctly, the engine does not stop, which part may be defective?

Trying to do the same. Did that work for you?
The yellow and the red ate outputs not feed correct? What do they go to?

I lost my key
