  • This video shows the full build and the upgrades I've made to my 670cc longtail. I apologise for the miscommunication but my reference to the other video on the dual carb setup is one by CarsandCamaras not Gopowersports. Thanks for watching and hope it helps

That is one brilliant build. Who cares about being pretty. That machine can HUNT! Thanks for sharing. I was going to go with a Mudd Motor but couldn't turn down a great deal on a used Outborad.
I really admire the Long Tail concept but this ole broke back of mine shared me off.
Keep sharing like to see it in action!
    Great Work!

Nice job I would like if you could send me the measurements of the shaft and how you did the bearings? I know you talked about it but thats part that I’m hung up on. One more question what thread type did you cut on the end of the shaft for the prop? Thanks a lot

Do you find having the tiller handle on the port side ( like a outboard ) handles better ? The motor I bought has the tiller on the other side of engine !

Yo on the old carb their are air and gas mixture screws that are covered by brass cover you have to use a small screw driver or ice pick or drill a small hole and pluck them off and you'll have access. Be blessed Jah Rastafari Salassie I JAH

yeah I'm probably going to go for a prodrive in the near future

Jared B I'm sold on a mud buddy. Everyone I have talked to about prodrives say that they are one bad mamajama. No doubt about it. But if something breaks you are SOL. No one stocks parts and even their distributors are 2 to 3 weeks out for the simplest of things. During Harvey, mud buddy was bending over backwards for anyone and everyone around me to help out with boat parts because they knew we had used our boats in Harvey and had broke stuff that had to be fixed before anyone thought about hunting. I'm talking props, clutches, steering cables, tilt/trim, the whole 9. If you broke it in Harvey helping get people out, it was sold to you at less than cost and was delivered the next day no charge. I saw it first hand. And that kind of people and customer service is damn sure worth the money.
