I watched your video to kinda get an ideal what was going wrong with me mini bike my brother told me he had it wired right but about a minute or two I could see he had nothing right… I told that dude to leave my bike alone but no he just had to play with everything and tried to tell me it was right when nothing was… Thank you for showing me I was right….
I got the sweet push kill switch for my mini and the video helped me do the kill switch in 15min making it perfect and checking it before soldering any wires. I’ll solder the middle wires if they ever fail from the shrink tape. Love the video!
great video man, someone tried taking my bike. I had the fuel off so they were only able to get down to road before I pulled up in my car. Idiots man I swear, but this will help a lot thanks man
someone tried to do the same thing to me. I put a hidden kill switch under my seat. they tried and I heard them pulling it over ran outside and confronted those dumbasses told them next time it's a .45 in the chest.... they never came back
So after hooking up the new kill switch, you still have to turn the predator kill switch to ON for the engine to start? Basically...you need both switches to be ON to start the motor but you can kill the engine with the new switch only?
yes, both switches have to be on for the engine to run. If one is off it won't run. I really like it that way cause someone tried to steal my bike and I had both turned off and he couldn't figure out how to start it. then that gave me enough time to get outside and deal with that dumbass. thanks for watching.

Hey there! I have a Hotshot TXR Mini Bike; its a pull start motor with a button to shut the motor off... Is it possible for me to rewire my bike so i can push the button to start and stop the engine? Thank you 🙂
You would need to add a starter motor and a new flywheel and battery power for the starter motor. You can look up which one for your particular motor you're running.
yes, the ground definitely matters your kill switch won't work at all if the ground Ain't hooked up. The gas tank mount is the best/easiest place to hook it up (as seen in video). You can hook it up in other places as long as it is a metal surface.
@Israel Ramirez the correct size wire is 18-gauge automotive wire. (here's a link for that) www.ebay.com/itm/302407904711 then you will need some butt connectors. these are the correct size (click on link) www.ebay.com/itm/222239205198 then you will need to crimp the butt connectors here's the crimper I use (click on link) www.ebay.com/itm/392945918225 after you have all the items you need. cut the wires where you want to and leave enough room for the butt connector to splice in. then strip the wires. and connect the butt connectors and wires together. then use the crimper to crimp down the butt connectors so the wires stay inside and are secured together.

What kind of carb did you get I put one on mine and on choke it wants to go forward and on run it bogs out and dies if I full throttle (196cc)

The newer predators the connectors are crimped together you can’t pull them apart without breaking the wire

My kill switch doesnt have a ground only 2 bullet connectors
Buy some crimps for the terminal
wroooong way the other switch is still active which is not correct should have unhooked original switch and wired new one independently.
Takes away low oil kill which is good because when you hit a bump the motor kills.. I like having 2 kill switches on my bike so that’s up to u
