Cheers - bit of a rare one being the estate - always draws the crowds at shows including Festival of the Unexceptional this year. Been a subscriber of yours for ages so delighted you've enjoyed this 👍

I hope I also can still take out my Audi in this year. The classic car show season is going to its end, now. Unfortunately I couldn't go on any show in September because of back issues and on Friday I've got a gastric flu. Not sure if I'll go somewhere today - we've excellent weather. Yesterday I felt still too exhausted to do anything although at least my stomach is doing good again. I'll decide in a few hours when I am more awake, hehe.
What a great fleet. Dizzy the Rover, Jim the Nissan and of course the Eunos Roadster. But probably you missed the new van for the spin, hehe.
I also have a battery booster if a battery is flat - great tool! Yet I've never needed it for my car but I already could help a subscriber who had a flat battery on his Porsche 911 at the Classics & Coffee. It worked very fine. 3 Nissan Sunny estates is really super rare, now. This makes Jim also very special. And I did notice all the feedback you got with him. Definately a keeper!

Sorry you've had back issues & gastric flu - not nice at all. The weather here in the UK is really bad but given the floods in Europe we can't complain. Still hoping (because I'm off work this week coming) to get to 2 shows - Thursday 26th & Sunday 29th. But that might be it for the year then, although there are a couple of indoor car museums I'd like to visit.
Yes, missed of the drive in the van 🤣Don't think anyone's that interested in a modern van 😆
'Jim' has really found a place in our hearts - in some ways it's so utterly dreadful it's wonderful if that makes sense. And yes, super rare and so very interesting for people. Definitely a keeper!

@@OldCarsNewVan We had such a nice weather today. I was a bit overdressed with my pullover because I read it will be only 20 °C but in the sunshine it was even hotter.
I am luckily not living in the area of the floodings.
I was deciding to go to the Classics & Coffee today. Was a great day. But also I noticed I may have lost some minerals in my body system. So I got two cramps towards the end but so I took a break, was driving home (which was pretty hard because I just decided to leave when hundred of cars wanted to park close to the nearby stadium for the VfB Stuttgart vs Borussia Dortmund soccer game - chaos on the roads with detours and stuck traffic. But I managed to come home, hehe.
Haha, yeah, I also don't think there will be too many viewers who expected a modern van here.
Really great to hear about Jim. So from a sudden buy like "why not" it was becoming a new part of the fleet. Great!

@@BFDdrives We are in a 'yellow' warning for rain for today and tomorrow - hasn't stopped all day - but as you say, many folks are in far worse a problem living in a flood area so must not complain. Maia too is all set for keeping Jim so a keeper - may have to put a new exhaust on him for the next MOT - just beginning to go. May have to get one made as I don't think they'll be available - oh the joys 🤣

@@OldCarsNewVan Here rain is starting today but according to the current forecast on Sunday it will be sunny again but cool (12 °C). But to be honest the forecasts are nowadays mostlikely not even correct for the same day. Still hoping for a very nice warm October like in last year but it seems to be very different in this year. On the other hand I found the time to show some more of the diecast model car stuff, hehe.
Oh yes, when talking about a new exhaust. It's what a guy with an Audi Cabriolet also told me yesterday at the Classics & Coffee. No more standard exhausts. Then he did put a sport exhaust on it, of course after a few years it's getting louder and then the TÜV-guy said it's already too loud. So no MOT for him. So it can become challenging with older cars. But I also heard from people who simply used an exhaust from another car and modified it that it fits under the car.

Enjoyable video. Best wishes to you both and yes its getting to that time of year unfortunately. Think I've bought 4 new batteries within the last year. The Xjs is now tucked up and can't see it going to any more shows this year. Considered going to York last weekend but couldn't be bothered. The weather didn't seem too promising. The positive was i saved myself £50 approx so not all bad news. The 75 V8 went for MOT on Wednesday and went through with flying colours. Always a relief. I then took it for a run up the road jut to keep things right, returned to give a light sponge bath and while the sun was shining took pictures for the insurance valuation. Thought i'll get them taken while the opportunity is there. I then thought i would try and do some filming for another feature and also add the engine soundtrack but wind noise and not enough battery power for my camera knocked that one on the head. I then went and visited one of my other cars and started that but that's another story. Don't think i will be taking the cars to any more shows this year but never say never.

All the best to you too Glyn. Always a slightly sad time of year when all the shows are coming to an end and cars are being SORN'd for winter. We've got our final 2 this week coming - Thurs 26th & Sun 29th and then I reckon we're done. Unless we go to a museum etc that's indoor.Great news on the 75 - lovely car. Intrigued by the 'other' car - was that it's wheel the other day? Cheers, Mike & Maia

@@OldCarsNewVan No i was referring to a different car. Been a poor year for shows lots attended but weather in the main has been poor. Good luck with the shows on 26 and 29th. I may go to one in October weather dependant.
