Okay, I'm not a huge PBG fan, but I gotta say, that choicest voice section was hilarious, this guy should make a video where it's just him doing the choicest voice.
The only reason why I search for random Mario Party RUclips channels is to solely watch them play this minigame. WiiLikeToPlay? There for this minigame. Vinesauce? There for this minigame. ProtonJon? Yes, TOTALLY not there for this minigame.
I recommend Vinesauce. He has a 50 minute video on this one game.

The worst part of Crane Game in Mario Party 2 is that while it's basically impossible to escape the crane for human players, it's literally impossible to get computer players in the pipe because they always escape in my experience, which is especially bad for me because I don't have any friends, so I always have to play against the CPU, making it impossible for me whether I'm operating the crane or trying to escape from it.
I’ve seen someone win 5/5 Choicest Voice with a kazoo. That mini game is garbage.
JediAnn Solo But honestly, it's one of those that's so bad it's good. Some games on this list are either dull, stupid or complete bullshit, but the choiciest voice is actually fun. Name another game where you can win by making the stupidest sounds with a crappy 3DS microphone that vaguely plays back to you what you said. Especially with a spot on impression like Peanut Butter Gamer. It's funny.
WillieManga I’m not saying it’s not funny! I agree with what you’re saying- heck, one of my favorite gaming videos of all time is Vinny from Vinesauce doing his impressions of the characters in the choicest voice. But it doesn’t change the fact that the game doesn’t function the way it says it does. It disguises itself as a game of skill when it doesn’t require it to win. So it’s still one of the worst party games.

I'm surprised Mario Party DS (a.k.a. the best one) wasn't even mentioned in this miniseries. Was their minigames even in the top 100? You know what? Super SkyBound The top 11 doesn't have any portable Mario Parties in it. Ironic, since it's on a portable console. DS is also my favourite but no one seems to care about it

Mario Party 8 is one of my favorite games in the series, however I can't help but agree that Flip the Chimp is the worst. The motion controls are so unresponsive.

The instructions kind of screw you over. They show you that you need to hold the Wiimote like a joystick and moveit to the left or right to flip the chimp….you don’t. You can just aim the Wiimote at the sensor bar and tilt it left or right instead.
FR. I remember when I turned 16 I started getting Wii games again after I found my old Wii and dreaded playing this again.
But I love Crane Game in Mario Party 1!

I saw a crane game with Mario plushes in it and it reminded me of this video. I’m sad because I couldn’t save weeg.
It is nigh impossible to get anyone even when they aren’t wriggling. The only item you can grab is the coin.
@@GODOFAWSOMENESS1 How? I never fail at it. At the very least it's easy to get the coin, bag, chest, and the AI/computer players. I probably wouldn't go for my brother because he taps the button just as fast as me though.
Diana Cavendish ok the bag is possible but that is it nothing else can be grabbed unless you are the computer.
@@GODOFAWSOMENESS1 Well usually me and my family agree not to go for each other, so we just go for the chest every time. But I've never missed it and I haven't seen my brother miss it before either. Maybe your game is different though. I know it sounds hard to believe, but I've noticed the AI and the behaviour of the game changes over the years. And it's not just me, my family have noticed it too. We've been playing the game for close to 20 years now, and even when a new one comes out, we always go back to Mario Party 1. Over time, some games get harder, or easier, or the computers start to act differently, (one example being handcar havoc sometimes being impossible, and other times being so easy that you can't fall even if you try), but the biggest change is that the game learns to favour certain players and actively turn against others, whether it's based on the number player you are or the character you select, we've all noticed. Maybe in your game, for whatever reason, it made crane game harder. But in our game, anybody could get the chest, even my mother who isn't very good at tapping the button fast.
I'm coming back to say this video is so deeply ingrained in my brain that I frequently quote it at random moments and was able to talk along with about 80% of this video, worryingly. Sentences like "Just take me, I'm not even going to try!" and "You got none; zero!" have become more important in my head than Gene Wilder's "You lose!" Your content has had a profound impact on my humor over the probable decade I've been watching, and I appreciate you sharing your comedic creations and getting to see your life progress in general. You are an inspiring creator and I greatly believe in you.

Mario Party 8 is a solid "Just Ok" title. It's got a couple unique level designs in the Koopa city where you finance hotels to get stars and the shuffling Boo's Mansion. And to be honest I'd say I like half of the minigames or so. Some absolutely slap but some are torture, like that lilypad race. "Cut from the Team" is a hilarious update on the old "Bowser's Big Blast" drawing straws thing, there's some really cool racing ones, this lasso thing, and great marksmanship ones.

It always worked for me. I figured out a strategy....don’t do what it says on the control screen. Hold the Wii remote horizontally, and turn it left or right as if you were turning a steering wheel. That seems to work.
I love the microphone game personally. It’s so fun to play. My friends are so shocked when I win by screaming AT THE TOP OF MY LUNGS! It’s pretty broken though. The only issue actually makes the game more fun because as I said, winning by screaming at your 3ds, instead of actually doing it right.

tbh i loved Mario Party 8. It is really one of my favourite MP Games and i just always have a great time playing it with my friends.Too bad they messed it up in the next one...
Same.... though that may be just due to it being my first experience with the series. Plus it has my favourite cast for a Mario Party game...... seriously I love the enemy characters in this game, Dry Bones, Boo, Hammer Bro and Blooper.
So, I AM the only one who likes 9 the most. Like 8 though.
I love seeing the timeline of PBG going from being super optimistic about the top 100, playing it, and then seeing him soul-crushed in the next video.
Sometimes I get the urge to go back to this video just to watch the bit where you play Choicest Voice, it's honestly one of the funniest things I've seen and never fails to make me laugh 😆

Usually I don’t comment on videos, but I just wanted to tell you these Mario Party videos were great! As someone who’s been following you since the first Zelda Month, your videos have been a bit hit-or-miss with me as of late. But these had almost none of my usual gripes (lots of screaming instead of making actual jokes, giving one joke or subject way too much time, forcing a song into every video). I think Mario Month is a nice change of pace and there’s a lot you could do with it! I’m late, so you probably won’t see this anyways, but these are just my two cents, the important thing is that you do whatever you feel is best (you’re the first RUclipsr I ever started watching and your videos have helped me through a lot, so it’d take more than you can probably do to get me to stop watching ;)

The best game to cheese is the Microphone game where you shout fruit names and the other players have to stand on the one you call.
The game gets ten times more intense as you scream out 'APPPINEAPPLE' or 'BANANAGRAPES'. Cause the computer has to choose SOMETHING. So really it's all up to chance for the 3 opponents.
