I have big prominent round eyes, rather generous lid space. Every single tutorial I have found for my eye shape is basically what you did on the left, because it is 'correcting' the eye shape. I did feel insecure about my 'bulging' eyes but I know they are my most striking feature. I love doing both. I like embracing how big they are and going bigger too. I love shimmer and bright colors, even if its a 'no-no' for my eye shape. Why? Why NOT? Makeup should be fun! I also love how sultry and defined a smokey eye or dark colors can be. For an eye shape with 'lots of real estate', I find the lack of looks that aren't corrective or smokey eyes for my eyes pretty disappointing. That's why I appreciate how creative you are with your looks 💕

Really, really great to find a tutorial for a natural look on big eyes. Mine are huge and deep-set and I've been using the small eyes makeup. Big mistake! Thank you for making it simple.

It's funny that all this time I've been doing the makeup you did on the eye you wanted to make look smaller and I thought I was making them look bigger! 😂😂😂 Thank you for yet another super helpful video Alex!

Thanks! To me you look better with the dark (small) eye. You can do this because you got beautiful big eyes. It is also is more dramatic and suits you well. Same here, with big eyes I also gravitate to deep dark, smoky eyes!

Thank you so much Alexandra! I've been doing this wrong all my life. I just started using contacts and noticed how small my eyes look without my glasses 😑 I'll try this technique asap. 🤩

I have big, round, hooded eyes and have pretty much written off eye makeup at this point because nothing seems to suit me. This is so helpful!

It seems so obvious after you explain it, but it's stuff that people just really don't think of on their own. That's why your videos are so amazing. You teach people how to use makeup and it's like having a light bulb go off.
