    The early game to mid game is really a big tutorial.
    What is truly beautiful is once you know all the mechanics you can set several goals / quests for yourself and no matter if you want some action or a podcast and some chill gametime, it will always provide.

      It's not a brand new game they added one monster and called it a day, they've already done terrain generation millions of times before and changed the land scapes all they do in these big updates is just improve the graphics, they don't add any new actual content into the game besides that giant bug.
      The other content was the terrain generated ruined everyone's bases to so there's that.

    Hello, Your video from yesterday popped up in my feed. I've been playing this game for a few years now and nearly 2800 hours over several saves. I felt really bad for you getting lost in that cave before you had your terrain manipulator (Digging tool). Caves are great for getting certain resources and when you have your terrain manipulator you can just dig your way out when you've had enough.
    I hope you'll hang in there! This game just keeps on getting better if you don't mind the grind of resources, etc.

Gives you a curated guided experience with faster progression with lots of loot from the quests, in populated systems with others doing expedition. you know u can move fast by sprinting, pressing melee and jumping all at the same time will propel u across the map, game doesn't really open up until u start upgrading everything, getting new ships and freighters, base building will open up so many things, best to follow the main storyline for now, best to search manufacturing facilities for BLUEPRINTS, you will need to start learning the different languages in game to read things, u can find words around the planets in knowledge stones, its pretty overwhelming to begin with bit stick with it its worth it, you can dig holes into the ground with the terrain manipulator to find temp shelter, once u get blueprints and upgrades for your suit the elements on planets wont really effect you
    you have your ship controls as tethered i find it better to change that in options

      @serelryk5365 2 месяца назад

      @@Dreginy Ah okay. If you warped to another system then it sounds like you already visited and explored your first Space Station. So that was one thing unfortunately, but I can get over that XD
      Regarding the knowledge stones, I would like to warn you to not make the same mistake that I did, where I wanted to learn the languages first. There are 5 different alien languages in the game, with thousands of words to learn. I spent over 50 hours just wandering around a planet and using knowledge stones until I realized that maybe it wasn't the best approach XD
      I mean definitely activate the stones as you come across them. But I think the best approach is just getting used to the idea that the languages are something that you as the player will learn slowly over time. Use Knowledge Stones and ask every NPC you see for dialect help and it will gradually happen over time. For a long while you'll be understanding only part of what they're saying, and then have to piece together and guess what they mean from the context, etc.

    You said it best ...YOU can get lost. I fail to see how that is a game design problem.. you are waking up on a brand new planet..is spelunking a great survival strategy ? Not really. Two more steps into the tutorial it is completely taken care of when you get your "digging tool" a second point it I don't know if it is just your style or if your mouse sensitivity is too high. But you navigate like a cracked out squirrel..... and make 180 spins with out actually looking around. Playing with just a touch more purpose and you would have been fine . I found it quite enjoyable watching you hopelessly loose your self in the cave. The rest of the run was well done, you did actually read the prompts and follow the steps, most do not. The visor is know from the get go .....the tutorial just does not prompt you to make it, they introduce you to one concept at a time. Once you ha e done the tutorial once. The next run you just start out mining ferite cobalt dihudrogen carbon and o2 ....and make everything all at once.

      It's a matter of preference. I prefer 3rd person.

      Depends what the person like. Just because you like it in first person dosent it mean everyone else will

    Couldn't watch ! You camera movements, give me motion sickness ...FPS style is the worst style to play as !

      Sorry about that! Someone else mentioned my camera movement was too much as well; I'll turn my sensitivity down next time

    You should remove your face from the screen...there's too much going on in this game for you to block info.

      I appreciate the feedback but using a facecam is part of the way I stream and won't be going away...Im open to tinkering with size and placement though to find a more suitable spot where Im not blocking too much on screen
