Very helpful. My bar did not include instructions. How do you aim the beam? I have a nilight bar. However, it is a similar design.
My light bar is wired up the same but when I turn it on my radio has static and isn’t clear unless I turn the light off. What could be the reason for that?

I have the same wiring harness and the issue I'm having is that the red light for "off" stays on. Won't that drain my battery over time?
It draws very very little I have 3 of them and have left the Jeep for.a month never dead

that is best so you don't stress the electrical system.
may i suggest a go pro and a tripod, much cleaner and not going back and forth giving me a headache. good video, but a little more effort will make u a pro.

Is the relay you are speaking of just a fancy word for fuse?
No a fuse is meant to melt and cut connection in case of a dead short rather than the wire catching fire or the item being fused.
A relay is like a light switch in a way where when power is sent to it, it Bridges a connection to send power to a item.

Yes you should wire a relay. When you click the button or flick the switch inside the vehicle to turn on the light bar you will send power to click the relay over getting power to the light bar you don't want to run power from the light bar to the switch to the battery because the switch might not be able to handle the amount of current light bar pulls from it. also make sure you fuse your relay at the battery that way if the relay fails or something shorts it doesn't melt anything
Why would they call it a relay if it was a fuse? Don’t you guys have Google? Maybe if you’re not versed enough to know the difference you shouldnt be wiring anything in your car.
