That 2.5L 5-cylinder engine sound is just something you don't get in cars nowadays. I'm glad that Audi decided to put this in the RS 3, the RS Q3 that is not in North America, and also the TT RS~

I like the sedan shape too, but in the US, I feel like the sportback look would be pretty weird as that is rare here, which I think would be cool.

Can you guys do a test from 0-100 without launch control to compare the difference? Almost no one tests this and I find it interesting to see how much launch control affects the times

Mine (facelift) does it in 3.7

9,1 ist echt schnell für die „Serien“-Leistung. Ich schaffe unter guten Bedingungen 8,5 und das mit einer Leistungssteigerung auf 460PS. Insgesamt muss man schon sagen das Audi den neuen RS3 gut hinbekommen hat. 0-100 ist in der Leistungsklasse kaum ein anderes Fahrzeug Wettbewerbsfähig...
Ja das ist wahr. Ich als BMW Fan muss sagen das ist serie schon sehr gut 👍😁 Made in Germany halt 😆
xellossaxon ich hatte beide (C63s und RS3) ca. ein halbes Jahr parallel. Ich habe es getestet. Der AMG hat sich nicht wirklich absetzten können. Erst deutlich über 200 ist er etwas schneller. Vor allem hatte mein C63s auch echt Dampf. 100-200 glatte 8,0.
Beides geile Kisten. Wobei der AMG der deutlich „Chilligere“ war (ist).
xellossaxon da geb ich dir schon recht. Der Vorgänger hat auch ein kleines Leistungsdefizit zum aktuellen Modell. Meiner ist noch zusätzlich um 60PS stärker als die Serie. Ganz klar kann ein Serienmäßiger RS3 auf der Autobahn nicht mithalten✌🏻

Good video, can you please do a launch timing by using the "sport manual" mode? I believe that it will shift automatically from 1st to 2nd gear, then you need to shift it yourself from 2nd to third and so on. I am curious and I believe that the "sport manual" mode will give half a second faster for 0-100 than the sport automatic mode. Similar to what you have tested for the Audi R8, whereby in one video, you used the sport automatic mode achieved 3.2 seconds for 0-100 comparing to another video, you used sport manual mode achieved 2.9 seconds for 0-100.

ik they have gotten quite better these new engines but the stock rs4 b8 seems to pull faster from 130 to 150 or so. idk if it's a feeling i'm getting from this video it just feels like it.

Mine has done 19k and i have an average of 1,37L / 10KM. Alot of City driving, and usually never driving eco when car is up to temperature. Long distance is below 1L / 10KM

Wow, der ist wirklich richtig schnell! Welche Außentemperatur hatte es zum Zeitpunkt des Tests? Entsprechend kalte Ansaugluft führt ja auch zu Mehrleistung. Wäre sehr interessant den Test mal im Frühjahr bei 20°C und mehr zu fahren.

It's not slow, but with the new M2 Competition I must say, that the M2 is way more exciting. Quite the same acceleration, but rear wheel drive and an i6. That's almost perfect for a sports car in this class.

Rs6 560Ps macht 9,0 Sekunden wiegt aber auch mehr. War überrascht, als ich mit meinem Rs3, an einem Rs6 dran blieb bis 240. Rs3 ist schon bistig.

Well, there are only 2 Tuning companies that do it, ABT and MTM, Abt offers stage 1 and 2 (1 Just software, 2 New Intercooler, Software and Exhaust) and MTM offers Stage 3 with new Turbo, Software, Intercooler and Exhaust.
MTM Costs around 20.000€ for the Tuning.
Abt Around 10.000€ (for extra 100hp)

I have own mine for 4 months now. If you don’t mind the fuel consumption which won’t go under 18-20L/100km in the city, then it’s absolutely briliant.
Va B how much km’s you do with one full tank on average then? :D I drive an S3 and i do like 430-ish km’s and thats with moderate sporty driving. If i drive sporty alot i wont even get to 400 lol I can imagine that will even be worse with the RS3 than?
Shivte first, you need to know that this engine can show a big gap before the run in period and after in terms of consumption. I had leased a FL very early when it came out, I couldn’t wait.
With this first car, 5000kms in 6 months, 70% city commute, roughly 50/50 comfort/dynamic drive. I NEVER got under 400kms.
Then, I bought the exact same car in august (but it’s different, this time it’s MY baby lol). After a very accurate run in period and a first oil change at 3000km, I still drive 70/30 city/country, and I get 320-330kms with a heavy foot, 400kms on average and (get ready) 600-610kms on the motorway, comfort mode, 7th gear cruising.
It’s a two-face little evil!

I put videos side by side of my 2018 SL63 up to 220, (not in the same category, but just comparing speed) they look almost identical up to about 160k, then my SL pulls away slightly... When I hit 220, the Audi is doing about 205.. That audi is a rocket, bit small for a guy my size Im 6'5" ... but definitely a car that would upset a lot of camaro, or corvette owners. It would hold its own against my car pretty decent up to a certain speed, but who goes that fast anyway? Around town or on the highway its a beast !!
I'm 6'8", and a RS3 is big enough for me. As long as I don't sit in the back seats.

Ich denke ohne. Mein Tacho zeigt auch bis 270 an, per GPS gemessen sind es aber "nur" 250km/h. Ab dann merkt man wie er etwas runter regelt. (Allerdings fahre ich Cupra 300, das Tacho sollte aber nicht groß anders funktionieren)
Meiner geht eben ohne Vmax Aufhebung bis 293kmh laut Tacho hatte aber nicht das gefühl das ende war

Automann-TV hast du es mal korrigiert? Bei mir sehen auch manche Straßen flach aus, am Ende sind’s trotzdem 1% Slope. Deswegen meine Vermutung, dass es bergab ging. Ist auch meistens nicht sichtbar, aber macht eben in der Zeit was aus ☺️
