    We're glad you like the stabilizer and that it's working well for your desk! We noticed the same thing you did with a lot of inexpensive desks wobbling from side to side, so we created this stabilizer since no one else was making a universal option to fit all those.

    Thanks Sids. How is the stabilizer bar holding up after one year (wait, maybe you've done an update video? I'm gonna check). I'm thinking of getting one of these, since even a tiny wobble on my monitor frustrates me no end, and my new standing desk is rather wobbly. I was thinking I could do something similar myself, but I think after adding up all the costs for brackets, it won't be much cheaper, or maybe I would end up with some not so nice thing made out of wood.

      It is holding up great. I have not done an update, but will probably do one soon. I highly recommend it.

    Hi there! Thank you for making this video! It was helpful. If my desk is wobbling back and forth, will the bar help still?

    Wow that's what I'm looking for! Is there an alternative that we can buy within EU?

      Have You found any? 1 year later and I couldn't find anything shipped from EU too.

    Came here from you monitor arm video and in the comments you said the arms you have now are much better, however not too crazy about the price being nearly 6 times more than the ones you had, are they really worth it if your only problem was wobbling?

    • @SidsTips
      @SidsTips  2 года назад

      Yes. Look on Ebay for those arms. You might find a good deal on it.

    Does it also improve top down wobble? For instance, we feel the monitor shakes when we type due to 2 leg frame. Thanks.

      It will help, but not eliminate the issue.

      @@SidsTips Thanks for your reply. I recently bought a Jarvis bamboo standing desk (c-type model), the side-to-side, back-to-forward wobble are both small even in the standing height. However, I feel vibrations (up-to-down), and the monitor wobbles when I type, even at the sitting height. Is it because of the c-type model? No support in front of the desk? Any ideas to get rid of it? Thanks again.

      @@dongzheli8204 It maybe the design of the desk. Perhaps you can reach out to the company for a recommendation or return the desk and look for a better brand and read the reviews.

    these things shouldn't even have to be made. Stabilizers are expensive on thier own. An expensive desk should be made properly to begin with so it doesn't wobble.

  • @Sica1000

    the better investment would be buying a stronger stand-up-deskt at the beginning. I would't want this stabilizer under my desk. Why? smaller space for my legs. 09.08.2021

      This was a desk from my company, so I had to take what I got and some have one and they want to improve on the issue, but I hear ya. Oh and by the way, the bar does not bother my legs at all.

      @@SidsTips I totally feel you but I also agree with Sica1000. I have a Steelcase adjustable height table and it's solid. Before I picked it up from my buddy's work he told me to stand on it... I'm 230lbs and didn't feel any bowing or shaking. These are high end office furniture though - definitely over-engineered compared to any table I've seen in my life. I didn't realize what was available on the high end of stuff but I do appreciate your video. I didn't even know these stabilizers existed.
