@@freedonx "DoNt BUy So MuCh CofFEe" you do realize that even with saving up as much as you can many people still can't always justify the cost of a nice standing desk, or anything that's multiple hundreds of dollars? Like I've been saving up for a medical procedure and I make 21 bucks an hour, more than a lot of people. I don't go anywhere on the weekends, I only grocery shop once every like 3 weeks because thank god I currently only live by myself. I qualify for reduced rent that is still 524 bucks a month and combining all my bills I shill out about 637 bucks a month. Over the past 2 months I've just been able to save up about 5000 bucks on top of what I had in there already, and now I'm at 7.2k. Dropping 300-500 alone for a decently good standing desk would take a sizable chunk out of that already, and more than that is an absurd thought to me right now. Even if I wasn't saving up for a time sensitive medical procedure, I'd hesitate to spend that much on just a desk when there are other more pressing things in my, and other people's, lives. It ain't as fucking clear cut "muh starbucks and iphone"
Thanks for confirming that a cheap standing desk is absolutely worth it! Got a 63" for less than $100, can't beat that. Not trying to jack up a car at lightning speed so go cheap!
For all those who enjoy placing their bench press bar fully loaded onto their desk please buy the expensives ones. For all other scenarios you guys know what to do.
Don't know why you insist on buying more expensive options. Saying it holds up to 180 lbs like it a bad thing, even if you put large pc case, two monitors, ps5 xpox all together with all accessories you won't make half the weight.
Great video. I tried a flexispot from Amazon and between the wobble and customer service (terrible! Don’t even try to reach them by phone) I returned it and went to a more expensive uplift. Worked out better for me. It’s all preference but I got what I was looking for in the end.
@@JitinMisra yes. I haven’t had issues with the stability in the standing position. I’d have to tell you my settings for standing position lol when I return home. I’m 5’9 if that helps.
@@QueenShanine I'm about six feet tall, please let me know if you raise the desk another 3 -4inches, if it is still stable ? Also, what size is your desk ?
@@JitinMisra I have 60x30 desk. I’ll check about the extra 3 inches but I’m going to say no because I use a balance board sometimes, which requires raising the desk a bit but I’ll double check for you
Would be nice to see the balance/wiggle Test also with an expensive /industrial table. Also in working high and working low range. All that fully maxed wiggel tests are not "Daly" usecase
Of course, a Ferrari is going to be better than a Chevrolet and a house of 10 million is going to be better than one of 2 million, someone doubts it, it's a budget problem
your weight limit test is not realistic. putting cider blocks is not realistic since its not designed for cinderblocks lol. most sit stand desk will have laptops maybe monitors on if nothing crazy heavy.
It's realistic if you mount a heavy solid wood desktop on it, plan to lean on your desk at all, place your feet up on it while leaning back in your chair, or load 3 monitors, speakers, and a pc case on it. If all you plan to put on it is a laptop and never lean on it etc, then by all means buy cheap but don't expect the motor to last long even under light loads.
There's an old adage that the "poor man pays twice", once for the cheap product and again for the product they should have bought in the first place. I'm not saying that to be arrogant, but just saying that by paying a bit more you may, get a product with better reliabity. In regards to these tops, when can just buy an Ikea Karlby counter-top and perhaps cut it to the length needed, though a 73" length would be fine for many. Anyway, thank you for the review and your opinions.
I dont like you right now (joking). You are absolutely right and I'm glad I looked at your comment because I tend to buy quality rather than a cheap item. It does usually end up costing as much if not more when adding the cost of both purchases plus the reduced productivity.
I think that’s basically what I did too I got a 72x30” for $100 and bought the legs separately, I think it’s a better deal than buying an all in one unless you have $800 lying around
Thank you for this review! ❤️ I bought a Egofit walking treadmill because I want to use it with a standing desk. Have you done a review on standing desks that can be used with an under desk treadmill? I was on Amazon looking for a desk, and found this review video, which saved me and helped me realize that I shouldn’t purchase any of these desks because of your push test. I don’t think I could afford an $800 desk. It would be nice to find a something in a lower price range where stability is my main concern.
4:56 what does it matter if it’s slow or fast it still does the same thing as a expensive one like why buy a expensive one just so it can go up and down faster me personally I bought the fesibo one and it works perfectly fine
I'm curious...do ANYONE really max out the load capacity of these desks? I mean even with a proper beefy dekstop PC sitting ON YOUR DESK (which in itself doesn't make sense) and 3 massive monitors, you should not be even close to the max....What the hell do people put on their desks to make a "low" capacity of 120-140lbs a con?
How are these desk compared to the varidesk pro 36 manual standing desk Can you do a review on eletric standing desk vs manual standing adjustable desk? I see a video from 3 years ago can you do a updated review.
Bad quality of the "Artiss Standing Desk Motorised Sit Stand Table", the motor didn't work in 3 months (still in warranty) and customer service team just not help at all...don't go same with me
I have this furmax desk. I cannot find my owners manual. I think I locked it. it keeps giving me a LoC code and it does not move up or down. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Take it from me. They suck. The wobble is unbearable. You're already spending 300 bucks. Spend an extra 200 to get something that doesn't wobble. My eyes hurt from using a cheap amazon desk for a week now. Not healthy.
Can you modify the levels of your choice from standing to sitting? Like any other standing/sitting desks from high end companies? In truth, a person really needs two status, standing and sitting. My main concern would be the warranty and what specifically covers. Especially with the motors, cords, and frame. The desk can be replace with better wood or metal sheets.
I would take reviews from these people with a grain of salt, they have so many videos so it would seem they're credible but they're not. They've already been taken to court for misinformation on standing desk wobble. Then they say the only ones worth buying are double the price and to use the link they post, all the desk are over $500.00 usd. Look for other realistic reviews, no one I know is going to put cinder blocks on a desk and wobble it, probably just needed to balance the feet for weight distribution anyway.
You can do better than this. Just because our shady competitor didn’t like our content, doesn’t mean it wasn’t true. The case was dismissed and when they tried to appeal, they were laughed out of court. They’ve tried to do the same with Wirecutter when they didn’t pick their desk. When they don’t get their way, they try to use muscle. Do a deep dive into Xdesk and Evodesk, I think you’ll change your tune pretty quick. It’s a shame their low quality conspiracy style content sucked you in. -GK
When. You stand and put your weight on the side of the desk it is alot of weight.. no clue why you wouldn't want to see real weight on them and also check to see if the manufacturer is lying about its capabilities..
Sometimes people only care about the price! As the comment below show but I like to not think short term but long and typically when buying low priced items of any sort they just don’t last better to buy once vs multiple items over time.

I agree with you too BUT Ikea desks are costly and they wobble. Many of them have dangerous corners and the color combinations are terrible.
I purchased the YOOGU Electric Dual Motor Stand up Desk Frame for $199 and a 59x23" Lorell Tabletop for $85. So far it has worked well.
