- What's Next for Kratos after Valhalla? This is a question that i think we all have, however, after seeing where the story of the Valhalla DLC went, i think we have room to make for some very very interesting theories.

Personally have a feeling next GOW will have Kratos travelling multiple pantheons with the help of Tyr, Freya, Mimir and some others, following the path Atreus went through, possibly because someone heard a rumour that Atreus was captured by hostile gods and needs help escaping. Hoping that Athena would play a larger role in the future of GOW, so maybe have her set up Atreus for failure.

Another cool location that Kratos could go would be Folkvangr. We really know nothing about the place, another than it being a afterlife of sorts that could be located in Vanaheim. It would be nice and cool if we could get another dlc to finally rap up the questions for gow that took place in the Norse setting. Just a simple idea of what could be cool. PS one of the game directors did say that Valhalla was not the end of Kratos story as a whole.
Arthurian Legend!!! That’s why Valhalla had Mimir talking about Oberon and his past.
Idk about anyone else, but Kratos going up again Oberon, or Merlyn (I doubt we’ll get along Arthur himself, his life was supposedly during medieval times, Greek and Norse Mythologies happened before the time of Christ, which is centuries before medieval times).
And this could mean Kratos could get his hands on the most legendary weapon of all time…Excalibur.
You’re forgetting Excalibur chooses who is worthy to wield it. Also don’t really know how to involve Christian mythology considering there is no God of War. Angel of war, but no God of War. Game kind of needs to keep the name.
Would definitely be an amazing side story, only because god of war is all about religions and the gods people would be worshiping and believing In, but I still think it would be great, god of war has definitely taken a more magical route, I think that would be a great story to explore as kratos with Mimir at his side, literally haha

@@acgearsandarms1343 that’s where Oberon an the fairie folk come in…Mimir already made Oberon out to be a cruel leader, I didn’t say it had to be Christianity Kratos was taking down, just that we’re going to Arthurian Legend, they can Avalon as the foreign land, and the Pantheon going down are Oberon and his followers…it’s a game, they can do whatever they want with the material to make it fit.
Wonder if the blade of Olympus turns out to be Excalibur?
just imagine Forseti along with Hermod,Vidar and Vali could be the next Villains as well as Hela/Hell the Loki's daughter and the Loki/Atreus himself as a villain he is the final boss would be incredible to see and still bring the Dead Gods back Mainly Baldur,Odin,Thor and their children
and they could also include the Norse heroes Siegfried/Sigurd and Beowulf and also the animals of Odin,Freyr and Thor That the wolves and the Horse from the all father Odin,the Boar of Freyr Gullinbursti and the Thor Goats did not appear as well like the good and peaceful Gods who were mentioned in 2018 but have not yet appeared such as:
Bragi,Nana,Idunn,Hodr and Ullr
Imagine all these characters/Gods,More Valkyries,Norse Heroes and Animals/Creatures appearing in the next game or in more dlcs would be incredible 🤔🥺😎👍🙏🙏 like and Bye!
One thing I'm really disappointed in is that Athena didn't have another cameo in the Valhalla DLC. Helios was a great surprise. Loved it! But Athena should've been there, too.
This dlc was absolutely phenomenal. So connected with kratos you almost feel his pain. the pain of other characters. the strong bond with mimir. I everytime I beat the game

Just really felt like a final goodbye to the character I mean they really laid everything out in this one.
Only way forward from here is maybe to remake the first three games and maybe the PSP games. Other than that I don’t see what else they’re gonna do with this character.
They can't get rid of Kratos yet. They'd have total outrage on their hands. Atreus isn't an interesting enough character to carry the series yet, not at all. He could get there, maybe, but you have to consider most of the long term fans can't stand Atreus. There's no way Sony would let their most popular series go out on a DLC. There's at least one more game of Kratos having to save that little nitwit son of his.
The next god of war or maybe one in the future could be: atreus is killed And Kratos returns to the afterlife to save his soul, Ultimately exchanging his life for his sons. the saga will pick up with his son. As the new God of war and his story will be told because kratos story has been told. He's an old man now. He has A child that is off finding out who he is. So that logically would be the direction the story should follow.
Unless there's some 9 realms, war cradles could help lead against an unknown enemy from some other Universe that might be neat a large scale conflict
Well Kratos accepted being the new God of War for the 9 realms, well, 8 realms really. I think an invasion takes place and there goes your new God of war game.
Faye really helped kratos. Playing thru the dlc kratos says this himself. Faye helped him with his grief over his daughter though he never forgot about her. But he was able to accept the fact his daughter is in a better place

Haven’t watched yet but I’d really like some surviving Greek gods to invade and try to get revenge. With Greece rebuilding, maybe someone took power and wants to steal land or something.
The dlc was amazing. I was iffy on how how have to do a new run. But I got used to it and usually go for the most powerful perks. And always try to go for the mystery perk gyph
Kratos son story need be next I'm going to look for in Egypt will be great but it would just be a no whole nother expansion of a different world kratos story has already been fulfilled why y'all wanted my homie kratos keep suffering in pain the developers they need to move away from kratos and let his son be the next chapter yeah they want to include kratos in the story with his son he have to save his son cuz his son was catcher that would be great probably be another DLC expansion
Man great video I love this game and the DLC I’m glad they brought back the blade of Olympus so powerful have fun using it. I wonder if they’ll do another DLC for Ragnarok or will the next content be a new God of war game all together.

Well i think kratos is gonna become new ruler of norse pantheon tbh which of course doesn't mean we are not gonna be seeing him anymore, atreus is gonna go on the journey to different pantheon which is surely gonna be interesting, sigrun is also going somewhere and i believe they are gonna make interesting story for her too, we shouldn't forget about sindri we are probably gonna see him in the future games,well anyways i like the ending we got idk why some people complained abt it, i like it because it shows that the story is not over and there will be more gow games in the future.

@acgearsandarms1343 Celtics pantheon would make more sense mimir history . Celtics and northic Pantheons do over lap in history. Sweden was in control of the UK at 1 point in time, and I could just reverse it. Don't know of any game that's focused on the Celtic

I think the next mythology will still be the Norse mythology we might see a war between the world's with Odin gone they might be some enemies now
i don't think so but we never know with santa monica and the GOW franchise Anyway if it stays in the norse mythology, i would love too btw (because i love the norse mythology some people are bored of it because we got a lot of that in this past decade (with games like skyrim,AC now GOW and TV shows etc) but i'm clearly not but if i'm not mistaken or wrong corey barlog or the main guys said that ragnarok is the last god of war game in the norse mythology that's why corey barlog wasn't doing ragnarok he was still around to have inputs but it's his right hand guy who made ragnarok they said before ragnarok launch so i won't be surprised if he cooked something really interesting next like egyptian mythology or something else.
@@SENKKOH Egypt would be good but they have to solve the mystery between Athenia and the higher plane of existence and also when artrues broke that mask maybe we might get artereus spin off for now after he has return the Norse world has been attacked
something i would like to see is a game where the other gods from the different mythology invade the nine realms and its up to kratos as the new general to stop the invasion or something like that
