Hi! Koeksisters are usually frozen once it is already baked and it can last for months (but usually they don't because they are very delicious just out of the freezer😉)

Tried out this recipe - all was going well , smelt good, looked good, but when i cracked them open they did not appear as yours did at 6.20. They were dry in the centre. not moist like yours. What did i do wrong?
It's ironic but believe it or not the salt brings out the sweet flavour. Even if it is only 1ml of salt it makes a huge difference in flavour that is why we read in the Bible that we should be like salt of the earth.😁
