I loved the way Kane was freaking out to Beast about getting punched and Beast just casually jumps on him and slams him. I still have that comic, tucked away with most of the late 80's-90's X-Men titles.

@@jonsonatlas6649 Goku simply doesn't have the stamina nor output to put nor keep Superman down. In Dragon Ball the fights they drag out for HOURS are said to have ended in minutes and Goku is still heavily fatigued and pushing his limits. Superman can fight hours on end with no break. If he can go toe to toe with Wonder woman, he can definitely take on Goku.
Ask yourself truthfully. We've seen plenty of Superman versions and Goku transformation. What makes you think Superman can withstand Containment Wave, Hakai, and Instant transmission, Zenkai, Kaio-Ken. Just wait until Goku reaches his full potential. People usually forget how insanely strong and powerful Wonder woman is. She's been consistently portrayted most powerful than kryptonians, the only kryptonian who gives her a hard time and won agaisnt her sometimes is Superman. She strong enough to break scepter of chronos fast enough to fight Hermes, won agaisnt speedsters, tanked a whole universe exploding at her body, tanked darkseid omega beams Who made a monitor (or anti monitor) gets reduced to bones. Fought gods Who defeated entirely Justice League lose, and then these same gods leave the Battle because she's too powerful. Fought Darkseid.

Wonder Woman's fights are so interesting when well written/choreographed. She's technical and strategic whereas many characters with her power fight with just brute strength

This seems about right to me. Diana is on Bruce Wayne's level in terms of hand-to-hand, and she's continually written as maybe 70-80% as strong as Kal-El. I'm not sure of Power Girl's strength level, but again, this all seems pretty believable in comic terms.
Also, Diana is the hottest woman in the DCU, but Power Girl has a nicer rack. This in-depth analysis brought to you by the letter three.

This is pretty much what annoys me when writers are having Thor fight . Dude is 1,500 years old and has been part of a warrior culture his entire life. I get it, it wouldn't be a very fun read if the hero systematically destroyed opponents all the time but sometimes when you see Wolverine attacking Thor you've got to go WTF? Dude wouldn't even land 1 slash before being cratered. Ya, his regeneration factor would eventually cave in but dude is badly outclassed in not just power (strength, speed etc.) but also fighting skill.

First time I see Powergirl true power against an opponent! The writers never used her at her peak, like a true kryptonian! In my opinion, like Martian Manhunter, Powergirl could give much more than writers use to do! Fernando always bringing us the best! Best wishes man!

This is also about the character who is a brand name HAVING to be able to beat up Power Girl, Supergirl, etc for the sake of her icon status. Same reason Superman's power increases over time and why Batman can beat up people he definitely can't beat up. I get it, to be clear. It just requires some logic bending sometimes.
I agree with your complaint except with Superman, when you analyze what Superman is and the whole appeal of his books, a godlike being trying to influence the world for the better and an arch-nemesis who makes the argument a human aspirational figure is more valuable and a godlike one damaging, it doesn’t make sense if Superman isn’t leagues ahead of any other being, like that whole idea doesn’t work if 20 other heroes and villains are just as powerful or even more so. Many writers don’t understand the core of good Superman storytelling and/or don’t like Superman and try to scale him down to tell the stories they want to tell, but any writer that does have ideas for him is going to need Superman to be the most powerful there is.
There isn’t really a lot of logic bending here, she’s consistently been punching in the same weight class as kryptonians. There isn’t need for logic to be bent, she’s in the same strength level as them, and has thousands of years of experience to back it up, if Power Girl won because it was her comic, then you’d be right. As it is, it only makes sense she wins here.

In the 90thies Power Girl was said to be Kara Zor El from another time line. Since they keep changing the origens from everyone, is she still a Kryptonian?
She is Kara from a different universe so yeah still kryptonian

They also made her an Atlantean who got Superman's powers through magic. Then they halved her powers when the Grey man zapped her.
Powergirl is still Kara from a different Earth.
Power Girl, in the 70s, was originally Kal-L's cousin, aka Supergirl of Earth-2. When Crisis happened, it merged most of Earth-2's heroes into Earth-Only's past, and Earth-1's heroes were Earth-Only's present day heroes. They didn't want to get rid of Power Girl though, so she ended up being an Atlantean (Aurion's grand daughter, I believe) WITHOUT Superman's powers, and actually no connection to Superman at all. That was the early 90s version of her. Then some time around Infinite Crisis, it was revealed (again) she was Kryptonian and from Earth-2, and she was no relation at all to Aurion of Atlantis. Basically, some Crisis mumbo jumbo shifted her into the Atlantean stuff in order to keep from erasing her from reality. Which started to come undone, probably from Superboy Prime punching the source wall/hypertime cube/whatever.

I still like Power Girl better and not just because of her two big natural personalities either (they have a very funny history btw, about why they're so 'prominent').
I hate how Diana uses "Amazon" like it's some exclusively superior thing, when in fact it isn't, shes the exception, the difference between humans and amazons normal amazons isn't that huge, as Batman I believe has shown, he can take down Amazonians just fine. Again, only a handful of Amazons have super strength on a level that is even comparable to a weakened WW.

Selvokaz - Amazons have been trained since birth as warriors to fight. Weather it's hand to hand or Hundreds of different types of weapons. Since they age very slowly, some of them have been training for hundreds of years and know just about every form of combat. Batman can best some of them, But I doubt he can beat Diana or The Queen of the Amazons Hippolyta.
@@Jagosix except the one glaring problem is that their knowledge of combat all revolves around greek/Greece style warfare, hate to break it to you, but the world has come a long way from ancient greek style wrestling, and while people can try and make the argument that they had thousands of years to perfect it, let us not forget they still use bows and arrows, why should we thus lend credit to their h2h fighting? Even if they naturally progressed AGW along its natural course, modern martial arts through trial and error and scientific understanding of the human form has developed far more effective fighting styles. Hence my opinion that Kryptonians who are pretty much what man would aspire to be would thus be far long better using their style of martial arts than say Wonder Woman and her few hundred years of fighting her sisters who all pretty much conform to AGW and any derivative from that. Power Girl isn't known for having Kyptonian MMA or anything like that in her skill set, but she has learned quite a bit from her time in the JSA and picking up tips from Bobcat, I don't see Diana's fighting style especially with our sword and shield being that effective that she should believe it affords her some kind of advantage against PG. If Karen instantly somehow gained Bruce's knowledge of the martial arts, she'd likely consider Diana's fighting skills a joke when combined with her Kryptonian powers, more so if she somehow got Lady Shiva's or Karate Kid's skills. My point is I don't think her flaunting her amazon fighting styles as being some kind of deciding factor when facing someone who is clearly her physical equal if not superior.

They're Indestructible and can take blows from God's and even the Likes of Superman Himself will little to no damage. Almost forgot about the Golden Lasso. That is a weapon upon itself. You've mentioned bows and arrows. Again their weapons are unlike anything mankind has made nor seen before.

They already explored the idea that Wonder Woman's and with also Shazam's or Black Adam's powers are not compatible with Superman, so you first need some kind of unique version of Superman for that.

Superman is Waaay Stronger and Supergirl.
Supergirl isn't stronger than Superman. Superman is stronger, he has been irradiated by a yellow sun for longer and his body is at its peak while Supergirl is still growing.
The difference is that Supergirl doesn't unconsciously restrain herself like Clark does.
