I always kind of felt like that with my old tuner, maybe because I had the stock turbo wasn't as exciting as a high horsepower builds, I would get my car back and would find all kinds of stuff loose or broken wires almost like my car was just hurry up and get it through the door.
Nice turbo, seems like it came on boost by 4200? which for 3rd gear is good... obviously the 2.4 helps a tonne here... I've been thinking about replacing my PTE with an EFR, its just a hassle with the manifold...
Really looking to 2.4 my evo as the extra tq will be insane! So you’re saying his current headgasket setup and the aftermarket cant support 1000hp? 1000hp 2.4 would be my end goal. Is there any way to make it work for a street car?
The turbos ull need to make 1000+ , will require rev above the 2.4l safe limits. Also the boost needed to make the 1000+ will most likely blow the gasket. My opinion of course. U want large displacement and high HP , get a Vette.

Maybe a different final drive you combo good with this build? Like a 4.28 final drive?

So the 2.4 motors are just issued prone and not as reliable?
It's the big bore that causes the issue , hard to seal for high hp

It's a square motor I wouldn't do more than 2.2 , a 2.3 wouldn't give u that much of gains vs the negatives

I prefer Garretts or xonas
EFR needs a vband setup
Some turbos are made for v-bands and some are for different housing. Bw offers t4twin housing for some turbos. Direct from manufacturer.
