- Another Dragy ridealong at the drag strip. The Dragy is proving to be very accurate, as It is usually only 3 hundredths off of the actual time slip. The Dragy measures terminal velocity, not trap speed, which will account for the difference in mph. ( I kind of prefer this) Usually, right around 3% higher for the Dragy.
Hell of a pass my man, people have to understand that dragy is legit, with the drag strip time slips, that's pretty much spot on

Nice run! I know this is an older post but I’m sure people are still checking dragy validation videos out! I recently ran 6 passes at a drag strip and ran dragy on every pass to see how close it really is! It was exactly .03 slow on every single pass but my MPH was almost dead on every run!! Very impressive this little box! The only thing not close was actual 60’ foot times on dragy vs time slip! By the 330 within.01-.02 so I can just check for improvement on street passes to see if holeshot is improving or not!
I am a real big fan of that thing. It's proven to be extremely consistent. No complaints here

The dragy is probably more acurate because of the roll out time to break the second beam to start the run. But who knows
Pretty cool man, how accurate do you find the dragy compared to actual slips? I may need to pick one up
On average, it is .03 shy of accurate. Meaning the car would show .o3 quicker at the track. The MPH is not trap speed but terminal speed. Meaning it can only me a sure the speed when the vehicle completes the quarter, not through a speed trap like at the drag strip.
My exported video doesn’t have the overlay. Can you help.
@@Snappycrix it should overlay automatically with the criteria that you've checked to display. 0 to 60, 60 ft time 8 Mi time quarter mile time Etc

How accurate are the car timers?
On a sticky tire, they seem to be accurate to within about a 10th of a second
This hellcat is stock? Seems a lot faster than a stock hellcat
