- Working together for over 15 years with the same group of people is never easy, but for Code Orange, it’s their mission. Through trial and error, vocalist and band leader Jami Morgan has realized the strengths of his 5 band members need to be harnessed, not suppressed. In doing so, Code has maintained an unique and unparalleled voice in modern rock and metal music.
Themes of fear, self-reflection, and transformation run deep in the band's latest album ‘The Above.’ Rather than boxing themselves into the genre they came up in, the group focused their energy into experimentation, allowing their creative impulses flow. For guitarist Reba Meyers, audience polarization is not an issue, she’s more concerned with authenticity. In order to be a voice for evolution, Code has fanned the flames of their own creative spark rather than mimic others.
While spending time with the band, it was clear how much attention to detail they put into their image, their music, and their performance. Staying true to your creative vision, not only requires a fearlessness, but also requires a confidence in the knowledge of where you stand within yourself and with those around you. Code Orange has cultivated that same essence within themselves and their community, and it’s given them the space to be unapologetically themselves.
We’re so psyched to share this incredible performance from Code Orange on Audiotree From Nothing!

Damn, Audiotree... Code Orange, Loathe, Thornhill, Enter Shikari. Such a good core party out here.
Man I’m so obsessed with Reba
She's hot
how could ya not
We all are!
She’s one of a kind
Yes man, it is something else
Truly a pleasure to have hosted this.
you did a great job on the johnny booth vid, legit just reminded me of some dudes chatting over some beers
nah man Audiotree cooked with the production on this one, great damn work here
that rendition of Mirror was fucking stunning. god damn.
CODE ORANGE FOREVER!!!
Fucking love CODE ORANGE!!!! RAW AS FUCK!!!
I like how for the last song there's a different mask hanging in front of the drum kit because Jami's sitting behind it. Little conscious artistic choices like that are part of what make Code Orange so awesome.
Love this band... The old stuff the new one... Its a matter of taste... Reba is the GOAT
tampoco nos pasemos xD
@@pattonPwr jajajajajaj ok ok
Love their old and new stuff a lot, CODE ORANGE FOREVER!!!
I don't know why so many haters in comment, the new stuff is epic and mature but keeps the hardcore. Simply amazin guys ❤️
Love this band, hope they keep expanding on what Code Orange is & keep experimenting with their sound, too many bands stick to the same formula & the same people complaining bands change complain when they don’t change anyway
That is extremely true. If you dont change musically & stay consistent ppl will get bored and complain about that, but if you change even slightly or grow steadily over time ppl will also whine and complain about that.
Really cool to see Jami back on the drums for a song. Also love the little changes they added to it
great band, been a fan since the 'kids' days...they deserve bigger stages and bigger success. awesome to see/hear them on this platform!
Thinners of the Herd
Wow I loved “Mirror” 😮💨🔥
Great band, insane songs and talk, thanks for the video!
Mirror sounds so good wow.
This sounds like my teenage angst back in '01. Love it.
Killer video, killer production! I want more videos in this format!
CODE ORANGE FOREVER
Wow, I've never heard of these guys before, and i just listened to the first song only so far, and I'm really impressed.
Code Orange is FOREVER
Love these homies, was really bummed they had to cancel this years tour, was hella looking forward to seeing them but I hope whatever they were dealing with is better now ❤
looking at how wholesome the interview was... I didnt expect them to hit it this fucking gruesome and heavy!!!
I sincerely hope we get a full-length album from this band STAT!!! Beautiful!!
Love seeing Dom with the crew!!! Hope you’re doing better brother. It’s not the same unless you all are together.
I think one day these guys will get there.
The only bad thing about this is its not long enough. I fucking love this band
Most underrated band in the scene
Hands down, bro.
Lol this band is a reference in this scene and some of their tracks have more than 3M views, wtf are you talking about? 😶
Love this performance of mirror so much
This is totally unexpected & amazing!
Sounds massive
everything they’ve ever made is perfect
You guys are dopppee
Cannot wait what you guys create every time
Great music, awesome recording and terrific performance!
Never been more stoked for one of these. I'm a minute and a half in. Lets get it.
Incredible! Love you all so much. Die hard fan since day one and forever on.
Super stoked ❤
Much love from 🇨🇦
This Kids are awesome they can do any style of extreme músic Just perfect
Probably most refreshing heavy band rn
check out the callous daoboys
That would be sanguisugabogg for me
THIS IS EPIC
Thank you do much. Great to see the whole band in full force again and an extra special thank you for this rendition of "The MIRROR". Sensation-al ( ノ ゚ー゚)ノ
i want to watch EVERY BAND that i love on audiotree from nothing
Best band in the game, last album stills spinning at my home. Audiotree session sounds amazing 🌲
Come to Argentina, we are waiting for so long 🔪
P.S: Shade 👽🤘🏻
uno puede soñar
@@macbethshead8097 yo no pensaba qué Avatar Metal iba a venir y estuvo ayer en el Teatro Flores.
PD: Type O Negative 💚
Love this band ❤
Holy crap! 🥰
Breaks my heart that they had to cancel this tour. Wishing the best for Dom and his health
the drums on theatre of cruelty. GOOD LORD.
FOREVER!
Amazing
Cool dudes! I love them!🤟
Love them and how they use effects.
if you don’t like the new stuff then listen to the old stuff and stop talking about it nobody cares tbh
Right? It’s like the band personally hurt them by just doing what they want 😂
Or, hear me out, let people have their opinion. They put their music out for the public to hear, and anyone who hears it has a right to criticize it in any way they see fit.
@@Sick66-qu4uh and those opinions are open to criticism themselves
That’s some good headbanging 🤘
Amazing set & great talk, love these guys, my only complaint is it’s too short lol
It must be a give and take with open minds and 💞
Heeeeell yeaaaah 🚒🔥🚒🔥🚒🔥🚒🔥🚒🔥
I FUCKING LOVE THIS BAND
Does anyone else remember seeing Code Orange Kids live at Mellow Mushroom in Austin, TX in like 2011 during South By South West?
Good shittt🤘🏿
GOATS
That bass and fuzz ❤
I LOVE CODE ORANGE
The future
Hot take - this era of grunge/nu metal vibes feels much more honest than their ultra edgy glitchy core moments. They still have the HC style riffs, but now there's more substance between them than just glitchy noise
sick.
TOTH
Code Orange for Hammersonic 2025 !!!
CODE ORANGE KIDS !!!!! Lets go !!!
Max has become so grown up and extraordinary. Handsome
🔥
code orange collab with Poppy? that would be epic..
Yeah Poppy would fit beautifully with Code Orange
@@py16667 they are kind of similar. code orange kids/code orange/adventurers? and their folk rock band....they both like to experiment in lots of genres and are great in heavy, industrial, shoegaze morphs.
Audiotree with Adventures when🥹
Don’t love the direction currently but I’m sure they will bounce back. Can’t knock ‘em for being experimental
hell yeaahhh
This year is definitely Nu Metal/Grunge era. Fucking hell yeah!
muito brabo
Reba❤
The haters can keep whining, I'll continue thoroughly enjoying where they were, where they are now, and where they'll go from here! 😎
I thought this was Orange 9mm 😂😵💫 Damn, she has a hell of a voice, all around.
I don't know why but i recognized that interview hall from the Underneat video
Code orange is not the sound i liked anymore, but still a bunch of great artist! Audiotree really nailed it with this session!
Their new(ish) direction didn’t sit well with me at first. Still not my thing but I can appreciate them just going for it. They now remind me more of Atari Teenage Riot than converge.
Killer
COME TO BRAZIL™ 💚🌎
Why is Dom in the video but not the credits?
i was asking the same thing
Agreed. That's a little confusing. Must be a typo.
suddenly!!!
Mexico ❤😊
Voice on Mirror is insane.
Easily the most interesting band in metal/hardcore, whatever you wanna to call it, to emerge in the last 10 years. Def the one with the most massive potential to bring these sounds back to the mainstream.
buh buh bullshiiiiit
@greatvaluecorndog they're probably most famous new hard band in the world, won and nominated for multiple grammys, experiment and change direction on every album, have some of both the hardest and most melodic songs in the genre simultaneously, how am I wrong?
@@dannygibson2597 dont waste your time. @greatvaluecorndog gets his opinions from r/hardcore
@@dannygibson2597 I dunno isnt Sleep Token putting up bigger numbers than them in the popcore arena?
@@5371W yeah I guess but to me they seem like a manufactured industry plant. they're relatively new and came out of nowhere anonymously with a huge view counts. like they were created by a label. Code Orange is a real band that's been around forever coming up from nothing in the hardcore scene and growing to what they are now, it's a different thing imo
Adventures comeback when???
Begging for you to turn the vocals up
what about dom? no credits
Take shape is like nin meets Linkin Park
she sounds like Patrick Mahomes.
Post-nu metal.
Peso pluma en los pianos
First af
Not really fucking with this new sound but happy for the kids any way
Llll❤
