Wow, I am so sorry for your situation. I have experienced homelessness a multitude of times before I became a nurse. My daughter (7 at the time) and I were escaping a DV situation and ended up living in my barely working car because there was NO SPACE at any shelter within a reasonable distance. So it is especially frustrating reading this kind of thing knowing they not only take it for granted but are outright disrespectful, entitled and blatantly ignorant.
I pray things get better for you as soon as possible. Although I am also glad you aren’t out on the streets. Can you tell if you perhaps ANY of them speak English….what EXACTLY did they expect when they got here?! And how in the hell do they get off demanding to be treated better than American citizens themselves?!

there are a handful of 2nd generation immigrants like in NYC speaks English because of the large and vibrant ethnic enclaves that are there. There is no official language in the US contrary to popular belief, but then Spanish is the 2nd largest language in the US. I lived in South Texas right by the border for 9 months and feel that place is a piece of crap! Almost 100% of the people there are Latinos, manly Mexicans and I had some hard time with communnicating with others who spoke little to no English. Many dont make an effort even to speak the language, i guess now we know why they are so left behind and why they are in the bottom of the ladder.

However, if you are living in a state where English is an official language let alone living in a place where there is little ethnic diversity then English is definitely a language people should speak.
My parents came in 1971. They did it legally and because they were leaving a communist country they lived and worked for 3 years in a work camp in Austria with a 5 year old child in tow to recieve their papers. There was no pity, no 20 minute agenda based news reports on their plight. They came to the USA legally pleaded for work with very minimal english worked thier tails off bought a home raised 3 children with not a single hand out like millions of other immigrants before them, they did not live off the backs of others. There are a plethera of Americans that are in dire need of help! This defies all logic.

Why is it taking so long for the judge to rule on suspending the mandate? I've never seen such BS with our government and judicial system. I was refused help by the government and I was living in my car for months... these illegal immigrants get more than Americans do.. which is not far at all. Aka to fill our dwindling numbers of men who serve. Number 2 to vote for the party who has brought them in aka democratic party so they can stay in power and uphold their agenda. 3 to fill the roll of our labor industry which is heavily shorted on laborers. Number 4 to boost a population increase in turn a growing population is a growing economy. This is how delusional whomever laid out the schematics and whomever followed this catastrophic endeavor. Potentially forever changing our democratic process in the future forever. I believe it's to late. Unless we bare down and let ice deport 10 million ilegals. Which I don't even think is feasible. Because we would have to close that border. It would take decades to round up that many. By then they would all but interestingly vanished melted into our society voting on matters they have no business voting in. I'm ashamed that our citizens and even myself have done nothing and don't know what to do. If it was the true American spirit, the Americans would have been at the border waiting to put a foot in their asses all the way back across that border. George Washington would come in blazing right now and take back what was the great United States of America. And to the republic for which it stands. One nation under God. Indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Not this over reaching clown show we have. I'd rather have those principles that which this country was founded on. My sister is living in France within 5 years she was speaking fluent French ,a Spanish person in America for 25 years cannot speak fluent English what a shame. Soon there will be no more English in America, and that is why I visit my country often so I don't lose my English.

I wonder why they never did puff piece on the guys who work 100 hours a week at my local 711. I guess it’s not the American dream when you waited for years in Islamabad for a visa so you can travel to the U.S., then cried when you finally got that green card to let you live and work in the U.S., then learned English and American culture by immersion while maintaining employment and a residence for 5 years without messing up, then studied and passed the citizenship exam, then applied and waited for visas to bring your wife and children, who you haven’t seen in years, to the U.S., then applied and obtain citizenship for your wife and children, and then bought a house, started a business and watched your 4 year old son go to his first day of school as an American. I thought that was the American dream.

This is all a joke. Just finished streaming with JLR investigates down in Jucumba, CA. Watched hundreds just walk across. Make camps at designated spots equipped with wash stations and bathrooms. Yesterday even watched private white vans driven by what looked like border patrol ...yet they were not. Instead of BP it was a company called ISS Action. They all had Texas plates. Further over in Arizona a few days ago while driving the wall witnessed major camps set up by the Red Cross. When interviewed just every Illegal told us they were going to New York, Boston, as well as the southern coastal states.

We have too many Americans that aren’t living the ‘American dream’ for us to be allowing people to come in here illegally to be able to. That saying that you can’t pour from an empty glass. I think the documentaries intended purpose was to get us to feel some kind of sympathy for these people, and I feel absolutely none. Don’t come running to New York or anywhere else in America just because things are messed up in your country. You stay over there and fix them. We have problems too.
