I mean, it would make sense that it would be the first place Ganondorf attacked. If you find yourself running out of time at the very top of Death Mountain; you should look for a gossip stone on one of the ledges. Smash it a bunch of times with your sword. That will trigger an animation which will interrupt the timer for a period of 10 or more seconds to tell you the time of the day. Just enough time for you to reach the summit and deliver the eye drops.

I think how OoT handles rupees might be the worst designed thing on the game. The game gives you so many and there are many many ways of earning rupees, but you can carry so few and there is almost no point to them, other than ocassionaly playing minigames to get heartcontainers or some story bits that need rupees. And infinite rupees might be the worst reward possible for every golden skulltula, literally when you are near 100% completion of the game.
I wonder if the golden skulltulas carried the same design philosophy behind korok seeds. Maybe Nintendo believed collecting skulltulas was fun, but collecting all of them was a slog, and so they didn't want to incentivize doing so.
@@adamx9065 Yeah I think that is likely. But to be honest. I've played Ocarina of Time for over 20 years and every episode you've posted I've learned new and exciting things about one of my favorite games. Thank you for your great content

Wow. I'm almost surprised this series is over because of how long it's been going, but I'm even more surprised by how long it's been, how many dozens of details I've missed from a game that's been in my family longer than I have. A game I've been playing all my life. Thank you, Looygi Bros., for taking the time to learn and share all these neat little secrets with all of us.
5:52 I learned about this one while watching my step sister play through the game for the first time. I was so excited for her to see how you line up the shot for your bow here and instead she just went up and used Din's fire. I said, "I'm mad you didn't do it the cool way like the puzzle intends but that blew my mind that it worked."
This series has been great because for the first time in something like 20 years I'm actually learning new things about OoT. I swear every OoT trivia video is like "Did you know? Talon wears a bowser necklace." or some other well known fact. This really feels like cool new info
The last part and still no mention of Zelda's lullaby repairing signs when they are cut down SMH. Regardless, the series was amazing. With the ocarina of Time PC port and 60 FPS along with the randomizer and hopefully combining the two together, this game will never die to me.
I don’t remember if you covered this. Link is able to walk up to ReDeads and Gibdos without being harmed if he is wearing the iron boots. I had known this for a long time. If he draws a weapon, they will become disturbed. However, I discovered something interesting. I discovered that he is also able to walk up to spear moblins while wearing the iron boots as long as the moblins are facing away from him. If they turn to face him, however, they will charge at him - be careful. If Link draws a weapon while standing behind a spear moblin, it will become disturbed and turn and charge. Using the iron boots does not cause club moblins to idle. They will still swing their clubs and avoiding the aftershock is extremely difficult. Also, it seems that it might be able to be done only once. A couple more things: 1. Club moblins do not like ice arrows. They are defeated after Link’s second ice arrow. It takes 3 of any other arrow, however, to defeat a club moblin. 2a. If 1 of Bongo Bongo’s hands is shot with an ice arrow, it will use its other hand to punch the frozen one. 2b. While Bongo Bongo is punching its frozen hand, its eye is vulnerable. However, Link’s shot must be quick and accurate to stun the boss. Incidentally, the freezing blade trap technique proves useful in both the Water Temple and Ganon’s Spirit Trial (original quest layout only). I did discover, however, that they are not frozen indefinitely. They do eventually thaw and resume their standard movement.
@@renakunisaki Ah I was not sure what all had been covered. I saw a lot of things covered in the videos. But, there is probably plenty more that even Looygi Bros. has not yet discovered. I constructed a document in which I had likened life to the game of Marble Drop ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marble_Drop ). I considered doing another such document using The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. However, because of the complexity of that game (particularly the deep spiritual and theological concepts that can be extracted), constructing that document would be much more difficult. Have a wonderful day!
I distinctively remember trying to jump inside the goron vase when I was kid a,d finding out that you just can't and being disappointed after so many tries. =[ Niice transition though.
Thank you so much! I thought you need Din’s fire to destroy that ice around the eye in Forest temple. I was stuck there because i forgot to take Din’s fire and i couldn’t travel back in time. That was my fourth playthrough trough the game.
I hope there is more from OoT! There is this fun little bug with Tektite enemies: In Lake Hylia you can turn them upside down with the megaton hammer, while they are on the water. Then you freeze them with the Hookshot (or longshot. Again, they have to be on the water). When they unfreeze...... surprise!
And for those wondering, you just void out in the Pot lol I'm excited for Majora's Mask! I've still never 100% completed the game back when I had the Collector's Edition with OoT and MM. My dog chewed it up. Maybe one day I'll shop around for it again.
Loved this series. First of these types of videos that actually has stuff i didn't know. And it had at least 1 thing in each of the series videos so this was a joy to watch. Thanks a lot!

2:26 I remember the guide book having an HD looking deku tree image and I always wondered where that came from bc it looked directly from the game, not just art. if you look up "ocarina of time deku tree hd" on google images it looks like the 2nd image but as an actual render, not a drawing. had a different angle too. still not sure where that came from
This was the only video in your series where I already knew of a number of these secrets. Great work! Looking forward to seeing what crazy stuff you find in Majora's Mask!
7:13 That image haunted me for years as a kid after first playing in a dark room after midnight. Any time I replayed it until I got older I had to look down or turn away from the TV. His laughter at the end ironically became a sound of relief for me because I knew he was gone. Seeing that that he has less detail here than his boss fight character model really adds to the creepiness.
Although the final episode, I just wanted to leave a simple "bug" I found in the game that I've never seen mentioned. At Kakariko graveyard, going near the last grave will make it start raining and when getting away, it will stop the rain. The bug is that it also happens as an adult when the constant rain curse is still active on Kakariko, making it so that you could stop the rain on the graveyard.
I've been avidly watching this series and recommending it to my friends, but that Goron Pot fake out just earned you my subscription, friend. Keep up the excellent work!
This series have been really fun, they started being posted as soon as I started playing Ocarina of Time for the first time recently, so it was really fun having the game and this series going along
I can't thank you enough for making this series. I really enjoyed watching these and learned a lot from them, so it's sad to see the series coming to an end. I'm super hyped for Majora's Mask though, because I like the game as much as OoT!
So hyped for the majora's mask videos, these were an awesome mix of nostalgia and learning new things about a game I thought I knew t bunch about. If your MM videos are half as good as your ocarina videos I'll be devouring them!
Wait what? Ice arrows freeze the spike traps? I always thought the ice arrows were a neat, but useless macguffin you got towards the end of the game. I had no idea they were actually useful for something.
These were always so interesting, I learned all kinds of stuff from you! Majora's Mask is my favorite of the Zeldas so I'm excited to see what you'll tell us about that. If you complete the coastal spider house after using the 4th day telescope glitch, the restored human you saved acts strangely. Leave the house and come back inside and you can find him again deeper inside. At least that's what I remember finding out.
When you get the hookshot and go to the forest temple, you can make a bug with mido look,s like finish deku three, play saria song on the zoras shortcut (in the place when navi get green) and mido cant move, you can cross the road and mido still on that place, he never get move and you can make that bug more times in a file
Love these Ocarina Of Time vids, hope one day in the future we can get more! 🙏 Side note: Number 9. Master Quest taught me its the most convenient if you stand on the middle pillar for easier iced eye locks! This was such a fun series to watch and I loved that transition to Termina
Aww, the final one? :( Ah, but it was amazing either way! I've been watching your Zelda videos for at least two months now, and I always enjoyed every single one. Instant subscribed. ❤👍
Well, suggestions for Majora's Mask, 1. The boxer shorts on the bed in the Inn are an infinite source of Mushrooms. Just leave the room and come back. 2. If you finish Stone Tower a second time without freeing Pamela's father and enter into the house afterwards, Pamela will throw you out if you talk to her; however, if you don't talk to her, you can explore the house and even talk to her father who doesn't mind the trespassing at all.
Okay, ice arrows on the blade traps in blowing my mind. Bombchus and deku nuts together also sound fun as hell, and I haven't thought of doing that either. Loved this series, btw. I thought I knew a lot about Ocarina of Time, but I was consistently getting surprised here. Can't wait to see Majora's Mask videos.
Dude, I played this game when it first came out and have cleared it more than 5 times... still didn't know you could freeze the spike traps. Such and awesome game!
Whoo-hoo! Something new in every video, great job! I never knew that thing about the Deku Nuts or considered how fire would be coded to interact with EVERYTHING cold. I can't wait for Majora's Mask!
Some of these are simultaneously blowing my mind and infuriating me for not thinking of them when I was a kid. The amount of stress I went through avoiding blade traps when I could have just frozen them.
I recently found out about the freezing the spike traps because of the room with the big poe in the well maze in majoras mask and I accidentally shot one with it, i was blown away that i put thousands of hours into that game and still found something new, hopefully your majoras mask series teaches me things I didn’t know about my favorite game of all time
I loved these videos! In every single one of them I learned something new about this game, and the last part of the video was a nice way to introduce us to the new series.
while this is the last of these (for now possibly) one thing i wanted to point out is that if you wait in the Kakariko windmill for a while you can see the fog effect of the area become more dense for a moment. its rather odd. granted this was on original hardware, so it might not be replicatable in emulation.

Part 9
#7: Backfliping over the Deku Tree Spiked Log (I'm a part of the "never thought of it" gang)
Part 10
#1: Epona complaining about arrows being fired close to her (or other horses in general)
#3: Shooting mid-air
Part 11
#2: Bombs blocking Spike Traps (nothing to do with the fact that it's my own suggestion)
#3: Freezing Blade Traps with Ice Arrows (easily one of my favorites)
#8: Big Octo reacting to Bombs by Jumping
Dam bro
Damn, I can't wait for the Majora's Mask series, this was was really cool and even taught me a few things that I had never known were possible!
Such a cool series, enjoyed every one of these videos!
Thank you Amy, so glad you liked them! ^^
La chica del arpa 0:
Tocas genial 😌
Loved that jumping in the Goron Vase transition into majoras mask lol nice :-)
Loved this series a lot thank you for taking the time to do this, Majora's Mask is my favorite zelda game so I'm even more excited for that one!
I was not expecting the last one, awesome videos :)
Keep up the awesome contribution you are providing the Zelda community!
Hey Bendik, thanks again for the support!
What a fantastic series! Looking forward to Majora's Mask!!
Thanks a lot for the rupees! ;D
This series has been great because for the first time in something like 20 years I'm actually learning new things about OoT. I swear every OoT trivia video is like "Did you know? Talon wears a bowser necklace." or some other well known fact. This really feels like cool new info
5:33 - This isn't a secret but is the intended solution since you don't get fire arrows until completing the water temple.
The last part and still no mention of Zelda's lullaby repairing signs when they are cut down SMH.
Regardless, the series was amazing. With the ocarina of Time PC port and 60 FPS along with the randomizer and hopefully combining the two together, this game will never die to me.
It begs the question though, what DOES happen when you jump in the Goron vase?
A couple more things:
@@renakunisaki Ah
I was not sure what all had been covered.
When they unfreeze...... surprise!
I'm loving these OoT videos, Looygi! I recently started to replay the game trying to find as much secrets as possible and these videos help out a lot.
And for those wondering, you just void out in the Pot lol
I'm excited for Majora's Mask!
I have to admit, as much as I know about Zelda games, you still always show off things I didn't know every single time. Keep up the excellent work!
0:12 Hover Boots stop collapse platforms
0:40 Bombs block Blade Traps
0:58 Ice Arrows frozen Blade Traps
1:29 Bottles make Bugs triple (I know it before watch)
2:19 Debug version
3:28 Road is safe at night
4:29 Bombchu + Deku Nut = Remote Bomb
5:06 Bombs knock up Bigocto
5:27 Frozen eye can be burn by any means (Not so surprise)
6:05 Walltulas attack's rules
6:37 Freezards' death animations
7:10 Ganondorf's look between 7 years
I had absolutely no idea that you could freeze blade traps!
The ice arrows on the blade traps shocked tf outta me 😵😵😯😯😲😲😳😳
BTW, Ganondorf got through hitting the blunt before his battle with Link😂🤣
2:26
I remember the guide book having an HD looking deku tree image and I always wondered where that came from bc it looked directly from the game, not just art.
if you look up "ocarina of time deku tree hd" on google images it looks like the 2nd image but as an actual render, not a drawing. had a different angle too. still not sure where that came from
The Hover Boot trick was the only reason I could ever do the Fire Temple part of Ganon's Tower without issue
This was the only video in your series where I already knew of a number of these secrets. Great work! Looking forward to seeing what crazy stuff you find in Majora's Mask!
Me too. I also used Din's fire to melt the ice at frozen switches and used the hover boots to avoid sinking platforms.
2 and 3 were very surprising to me
Same!
Because if you're anything like me you never actually used the ice arrows for anything
7:19
Ganondorf's hair is longer and there are some changes to his outfit beyond the red cape.
7:13
That image haunted me for years as a kid after first playing in a dark room after midnight. Any time I replayed it until I got older I had to look down or turn away from the TV. His laughter at the end ironically became a sound of relief for me because I knew he was gone. Seeing that that he has less detail here than his boss fight character model really adds to the creepiness.
Funny how Din's Fire works on the eyeball. Does this mean it is just the ice that triggers it and not the eye getting hit?
This is the only video you made that I can definitely say I actually knew everything in it. Great job with finding all these things!
the ice arrows freezing traps blew my mind! It's such a shame we can only get them so late in the game!
Ganon looks a lot different in the future. His eyes look more tired as well as having a wider facial structure. Symptoms of aging.
I never thought I was going to find a video with stuff I actually didn't know about oot, let alone a whole series. You guys are awesome
Although the final episode, I just wanted to leave a simple "bug" I found in the game that I've never seen mentioned.
At Kakariko graveyard, going near the last grave will make it start raining and when getting away, it will stop the rain. The bug is that it also happens as an adult when the constant rain curse is still active on Kakariko, making it so that you could stop the rain on the graveyard.
haha omg I almost literally ran to my closet and booted up OOT with that last transition to MM! haha could you imagine?
What a great way to end of this incredible series! I've enjoyed this series from the beginning.
I've been avidly watching this series and recommending it to my friends, but that Goron Pot fake out just earned you my subscription, friend. Keep up the excellent work!
Here, thanks for the series
Thank You! ❤️
Man, it must have taken them so much work and thought to put in all these little details. So impressive!
They definitely set the foundations for future sandbox play here
This series have been really fun, they started being posted as soon as I started playing Ocarina of Time for the first time recently, so it was really fun having the game and this series going along
If it wasn’t for this video’s thumbnail, I would never have known Ganondorf had ears. Thank you!!!
I can't thank you enough for making this series. I really enjoyed watching these and learned a lot from them, so it's sad to see the series coming to an end. I'm super hyped for Majora's Mask though, because I like the game as much as OoT!
Link jumping into the Goron vase into MM has the same energy as those memes with “Hey you, you’re finally awake” from Skyrim lmao
So sad this is coming to an end, these videos have given me a whole new appreciation for this incredible game!
That final transition to Majora's mask was way too epic! Y'all have no idea how much I loved this series! Looking forward for Zelda MM!!
I love this channel, it's the only one with good enough info to justify no narration
This series was a pleasure to watch! Thank you so much!
When you get the hookshot and go to the forest temple, you can make a bug with mido look,s like finish deku three, play saria song on the zoras shortcut (in the place when navi get green) and mido cant move, you can cross the road and mido still on that place, he never get move and you can make that bug more times in a file
These series are incredible, very nice job.
Majora's mask Fact: If Link Is Wearing The Bomb mask and Shields, He won't Take Damage from The Explosion.
Love these Ocarina Of Time vids, hope one day in the future we can get more! 🙏
Side note: Number 9. Master Quest taught me its the most convenient if you stand on the middle pillar for easier iced eye locks!
This was such a fun series to watch and I loved that transition to Termina
Aww, the final one? :(
Ah, but it was amazing either way! I've been watching your Zelda videos for at least two months now, and I always enjoyed every single one.
Instant subscribed. ❤👍
That ending was ultra smooth! Well done serious of videos.
Well, suggestions for Majora's Mask,
So many learnt things in this series that could have helped me back then when I was starting playing Zelda
ive played through this game probably 20+ times in my life and most of these ive never known/noticed, thank you for these vids!
Every time I watch one, I figure it’ll be like 90% things I already know, but it was more like 10%! great selection!
6:20 I thought I was the only person who knew this about walltulas! Thank you for showing this off!
This was a fascinating series, thank you! I can't wait for Majora's Mask!
Excuse me, final part? These series have been too great to quit!
Yes, there are more. I know a trick, how to get more than 4 bottles.
lol that was a fun transition at the end. I didn't know about the road thing, but when it was pointed out I knew what it was referencing.
3:55 I’ve noticed that too as Link got hit by those is a reference to Link getting hurt in Zelda II! Even when you hit Dark Link in the Water Temple!
What an interesting series. Can't wait for the Majora's Mask secrets!
This has been awesome! So excited for Majora’s mask!
while this is the last of these (for now possibly) one thing i wanted to point out is that if you wait in the Kakariko windmill for a while
you can see the fog effect of the area become more dense for a moment. its rather odd.
granted this was on original hardware, so it might not be replicatable in emulation.
¡Gracias!
¡Muchas gracias por el Súper Gracias! ^^
