hmm opinion: We saw Red Guardian; break a wrist like it was nothing, lift a trailer, with in the Black Widow movie.. I think of RG as STRONGER than Steve Rodgers but with LESS stamina.
I just keep thinking where does The Marvels fit into all of this new stuff especially with the Photon character , like what's gonna happen to her now that there's no other sequel to the Marvel's
I mean Marvel did him dirty after Winter Soldier cause the dude was forgotten character... They didn't even use him for almost anything important... The dude was meant to be the next Captain America but instead they gave it to the guy who doesn't shut up 😂😂 but it's ok he'll be the weakest Captain America unless he takes the super soldier serum but he refused the first time so I doubt he'll have another chance... Bucky Barnes is as gud as Captain America and would've been better fit ofcoarse after his recovery since Bucky was Steve Roger's best friend ... Who would know Steve better than his bestie but fudge u Marvel for fudging that up for us...
I'd pefer Us agent filling that role, and relating to him about being seen as a villain for things outside of your control. And Us agent probably would want new friends after lamar's death, with bucky already has.

I mean Bucky was mind controlled and did bad things while under that control. Sentry has a different personality that takes over and causes him to do bad things. They're way more similar than US Agent and Sentry.
In Captain America: The First Avenger, the serum made Steve stronger but the gamma rays from Stark made him bigger, not the serum. One of them says "Gamma rays for muscle growth." So steve would have been stronger regardless but by bombarding him with gamma rays he also got larger muscles. You could make the argument that the serum increases the base strength by a 10x so to give steve the most strength as possible, increase his size too. If I remember correctly too, General Ross said they had Banner researching the serum with Gamma because they thought it would unlock the secret to Captain America. So the Hulk is a result of too much Gamma and a derivative of the serum. And Blonksy didn't become abomination until the Leader gave him a Hulk derivative. Also this is why the group in Falcon/Winter Soldier didn't get bigger with the serum. No Gamma Rays.

I heard that one of the reasons Thunderbolts has an asterisk is for real world legal reasons with Universal. Basically Marvel had to clarify the group’s name doesn’t come from Thunderbolt Ross so that Universal can’t block the distribution of the movie. If it was named after him, Universal would have control over distribution due to Ross being part of the Hulk property.

I’m guessing Val tries to kill them now, because before there wasn’t an Avengers team to stop her. There are rumors Cap 4 will reveal a potential new roster. Be a neat response/continuation from with this. Then by the end of Thunderbolts, it’s either the formation of the Dark Avengers or perhaps Secret Avengers. Who knows?
So the Thunderbolts get their name from the character Citizen V, secretly Baron Zemo in disguise, he tells the press it comes from the Thomas Randolph poem 'justice like lightning' "Justice, like lighting, ever should appear / To few men ruin, but to all men fear. Our hope is that we can be that lightning--that justice." But he later reveals the name is an allusion to his time during ww2, specifically the blitzkrieg, and his connections to hydra/nazism.
My theory is that they set up Fantastic 4 and Alternate Universe Avengers against Dr. Doom before the Secret Wars movie that combines both Universes. (Imagine two Avengers teams forced to fight against each other to rescue their universe.) I also wish that we get a Deadpool Secret Secret Wars movie. 😂😂😂 In addition to Doom I would love to see Jeff Goldblum return as the Grandmaster to organize the Secret Wars game. Or maybe introducing the Beyonder. So many possibilities when you look at the comic origins. To be honest, the fact that they dropped the Kang Dynasty storyline and went with Doom got me really excited about the MCU again. Even though I am still not sure what I think about RDJ playing him. Oh, and introducing Spider-Man fusing with the Venom Symbiote during Secret Wars. I would love that so much. Pretty please Marvel. And when he realizes that the Symbiote isn’t good for him then it can go over to Flash or Scorpion like in the comics. Enough time could have passed that Flash joined the military after school to become Agent Venom then. (Maybe even only a MCU Venom character that is disconnected from the Sony universe.)

So we see him argue with Val and we see him going to a hearing or some official government thing, but how and why would he get involved with the group of characters... I really doubt they are going to make him be someone that already works with Val, I don't think it would fit his character arc at all to be one of Val's "hired assassins"; so what?... Maybe after shit his the fan with "our characters" and they figure out that Val wants them dead they try to look for some sort of help or guidance and that's when they contact Bucky? Maybe it's Walker who brings up Bucky and the idea of asking for his help given all of his experience and perhaps his current status as someone that can maybe get close to Val... One of the things I'm most exited about, and I'm really hoping with every fiver of my being they don't overlook or drop the ball on it, it's the reaction that Red Guardian and Yelena SHOULD HAVE towards meeting Bucky... THEY NEED to create some cool story context of how Red Guardian knew about the Winter Soldier, maybe looked up to him, maybe the opposite and he was jealous of him being the #1 soviet super soldier... And of course Yelena's reaction; they need to adapt some of the cool connections between the Black Widow program and the Winter Soldier that exist on some of the comics... I know Yelena isn't THAT old and trying to match the years where they both would be "operational" could be quite tricky (or perhaps even impossible), but I would love a story where at some point the widows and yelena specifically had some contact with the winter soldier, maybe a joined mission, maybe they brought him in to train the widows how to go against a far stronger and experienced fighter... IDK, something; at the very least they need to make it that they are both well aware about Bucky and show some sort of intense response to meeting him... Put some respect on my boy 🤣
Originally it was supposed to be the thunderbolts with the deadpool logo in for the "o" when marvel announced it years ago before they pulled everything .....but with deadpool 3 that means that's how they can add Electra with TVA pulling her from the void. And at flash Thompson becoming agent venom.... due to the piece of symbiote that got left behind at the end of endgame.
Pretty sure that’s shelved for the foreseeable future and now with Wesley making his appearance I’m sure they realized they fucked up without having him in it so there back at the drawing board

Bucky and Cap are already enhanced from a "serum" (it's a P.E.D.), they can't use this again for Sentry. The coolest thing about him was his power was mysterious and wasn't actually related to any drug. If bodybuilders called gear a "syrum" then would everyone be cool with it?

Val pulls LOTS of strings & literally knows where ALL the bodies are buried. Kinda like Nick Fury, but with HELLA better fashion sense. Julia Louis-Dreyfus is PERFECT for the role. I wonder how Feige is gonna show her hand to hands skills? 🤔🤔🤔 LFG!!! 🤩🤩🤩
Did anyone else read the Dark Avengers run where the Sentry got his powers because he broke into Norman Osborne’s lab while looking for drugs to inject because he was detoxing? That’s the Sentry I want to see. And the Void talked to both he AND was the actual personality behind the Green Goblin. And it was also made very clear that The Void is literally Yahweh from the Bible and they show how he was responsible for the plagues on Egypt. I think I read it in 2016 or 2017 and it couldn’t have been that old. Osborne became president or something if I remember right. And Dakine, Wolverines son was part of the crew
If they end up giving The Sentry the same powers and abilities he has in the comics. I just wanna know how are they gonna explain how a serum gave him those abilities? Some of his abilities can be easily explained like his super strength, speed, endurance, agility, reflexes, and durability but it's the other powers that would be hard to explain.
Sentry is like a cosmic level being character. Also a great character for multiple movies.. I hope Marvel doesn't one shot him like they do all the other villians.
So the Sabra character is the Winter Guards Red Widow from the comics. The one that briefly brainwashed and turned She Hulk into a hulked out version of a Black Widow
I think Val is actually a little bit more clever than we think and maybe she’s trying to create an Avengers Bonding moment. I guess she’s supposed to be like Amanda Waller from Suicide Squad in that respect
Unless he's nerfed to hell, Sentry has no place in the next two Avengers films. If he is nerfed, there'd be no point in him showing up apart from having his Captain Marvel Endgame moment which adds nothing. It's a shame too, for the same reasons we couldn't have Legion show up in a massive crossover and have it mean something.
Thunderbolt Ross was only a team member for one Thunderbolts team. I think it was the one with Electra in it? Not sure, it has been a few years since I read the series.
I am pretty intrigued with how this is going to fit together. And apparently Val is in need of some serious government oversight, especially if she is the one that bought Stark Tower.
#EmergencyAwesome on another note I think that if they brought Wesley Snipes and made him be Dracula in the new blade movie against M.A Blade and he appeared in one or two movies before getting killed off they would really kill it Im Just Saiyan HGD✌️
As an old school Marvel fan, I think it's kind of insulting that a weak OP modern character like Sentry is being put in Marvel movies, before so many other older, better known and more beloved/ fan favorite characters.
I really liked the original Sentry run back in the days with his origins beeing connected to the early days of marvel. It also was clearly inspired by Alan Moores Miracle Man run. The MCU essentially used the "the world forgot about hero XY" plot divice from this first Sentry run for No way home. I don´t know if I like this new approach to the character. If they do him justice it should be a psychological thriller not the usual MCU joke fest
Hmm.... I keep wondering if they are going to use Bob's original origin from the comics, I kinda hope they won't, because it'd be kind of weird to have a corpse of a drug addict possessed by the literal biblical angel of death running around.
That's not what he is lol. That was his reality warping messing with things. 2005 Sentry comic breaks it down. Bob is both The Sentry and The Void. The Sentry is what Bob envisions as the "perfect hero" and The Void is Bob's dark and repressed emotions and thoughts. His mind fractured when he drank the Golden Sentry Serum, but they're all the same guy, not the Angel of Death.
Exited for this. Love to see bucky, I'm wondering if his arm has more surprises up it's sleeve than the demounting thing he didn't know about in the series. I hope they succeed with these more broken and shady characters.
Being a super soldier has become meaningless. Bucky ended up as just a dude with a useless metal arm and a big gun. And, Captain America is now just an ordinary guy in Spandex with silly wings and the shield. But, he can still manage to do all the Captain America stuff. Somehow.

They will likely replace the beyonder with the sentry for secret wars. Powe scaling wise it makes no sense but its the easier route to take.

I believe. There is a twist. Capt 4 and the Thunderblots are two movies. Are going on the same time. But you dont see the connection until ofc u see the other movie. They say this connect. Key word Connection. I can see these two movies. Taking place in the same time. Marvel be sneeky like tht.

Bucky and Cap are already enhanced from a "serum" (it's a P.E.D.), they can't use this again for Sentry. The coolest thing about him was his power was mysterious and wasn't actually related to any drug.

Did anyone else read the Dark Avengers run where the Sentry got his powers because he broke into Norman Osborne’s lab while looking for drugs to inject because he was detoxing? That’s the Sentry I want to see. And the Void talked to both he AND was the actual personality behind the Green Goblin. And it was also made very clear that The Void is literally Yahweh from the Bible and they show how he was responsible for the plagues on Egypt. I think I read it in 2016 or 2017 and it couldn’t have been that old. Osborne became president or something if I remember right. And Dakine, Wolverines son was part of the crew

If they end up giving The Sentry the same powers and abilities he has in the comics. I just wanna know how are they gonna explain how a serum gave him those abilities? Some of his abilities can be easily explained like his super strength, speed, endurance, agility, reflexes, and durability but it's the other powers that would be hard to explain.

Sentry is like a cosmic level being character. Also a great character for multiple movies.. I hope Marvel doesn't one shot him like they do all the other villians.

So the Sabra character is the Winter Guards Red Widow from the comics. The one that briefly brainwashed and turned She Hulk into a hulked out version of a Black Widow

Unless he's nerfed to hell, Sentry has no place in the next two Avengers films. If he is nerfed, there'd be no point in him showing up apart from having his Captain Marvel Endgame moment which adds nothing. It's a shame too, for the same reasons we couldn't have Legion show up in a massive crossover and have it mean something.

As an old school Marvel fan, I think it's kind of insulting that a weak OP modern character like Sentry is being put in Marvel movies, before so many other older, better known and more beloved/ fan favorite characters.
If we see any glimpse of The Void, I will scream in the theatre.

Lewis Pullman is The Sentry. That's why he was at the comic con panel saying he played "Bob" aka Robert Reynolds.
I really liked the original Sentry run back in the days with his origins beeing connected to the early days of marvel. It also was clearly inspired by Alan Moores Miracle Man run. The MCU essentially used the "the world forgot about hero XY" plot divice from this first Sentry run for No way home. I don´t know if I like this new approach to the character. If they do him justice it should be a psychological thriller not the usual MCU joke fest

That's not what he is lol. That was his reality warping messing with things. 2005 Sentry comic breaks it down. Bob is both The Sentry and The Void. The Sentry is what Bob envisions as the "perfect hero" and The Void is Bob's dark and repressed emotions and thoughts. His mind fractured when he drank the Golden Sentry Serum, but they're all the same guy, not the Angel of Death.

Exited for this. Love to see bucky, I'm wondering if his arm has more surprises up it's sleeve than the demounting thing he didn't know about in the series. I hope they succeed with these more broken and shady characters.

Being a super soldier has become meaningless. Bucky ended up as just a dude with a useless metal arm and a big gun. And, Captain America is now just an ordinary guy in Spandex with silly wings and the shield. But, he can still manage to do all the Captain America stuff. Somehow.
