After playing DMC 1-4, it made me pissed I didn’t play them earlier. It became one of the most badass, fun, intense, and over the top series for me, especially 3 and 4. Now I’m excited as hell for this, especially after trying the demo.
Same! I couldn’t play these when I was a kid because Christian household, but I put off buying the series for too freaking long. Got it less than a month ago, and less than 24 hours was enough to make me a full blow Devil May Cry fan absolute lol (sad Capcom seems to hate money though, so barely anything I can buy for my new obsession 😢) Can’t wait for DMC 6. And with it being around 3 years after 5 now, maybe if lucky, just 2-3 years left to wait 😅

You need to watch other audience reactions from other locations in the theater then. The start was purely fear that it was another DmC, but when it started registering that this was DMC5, everyone goes fucking nuts.
well most people in that audience are definitely not "kids" also theres a matter of demographics. when dmc 4 was released most of the young xbox audience was into CoD, Halo, Gears, etc. If they showed this to the PS4 audience they probably would've flipped

I wish I would have been a dmc fan when this dropped. Dmc 5 got me into the series and pretty much instantly became my favorite game of all time and dmc has solidified itself as my favorite video game series. The day dmc 6 is announced is the day I can rest in piece lol.

Considering that Sony's conference took place in low-end shack this year, I wouldn't see any acoustical difference in reactions for both DMC5 or RE2 whatsoever. When I was watching live on RUclips and saw Nero, I thought it was Donte from DmC. Was very glad to see the Red Queen and Blue Rose and the real Dante at the very end.
I was really rooting for Microsoft this year, and I was hoping that they would have an interesting (or at least, not embarrassing) show, but even as a dude that focuses on Sony and Nintendo at E3 I was not prepared to say these words: Microsoft fucking nailed it, and as far as I'm concerned stole the show. Ridley and Daemon X Machina is amazing, and Sony had some neat stuff but the presentation was awful, but Microsoft showed variety - something that the XBox currently lacks. This E3 was at least an acknowledgement of that fact, and a step to correct it. If this is the start of something, the XBOX brand has my attention. Good job, and long live Itsuna and the REAL Devil May Cry. Also Shadows Die Twice.
Xbox lacks exclusives, which is still true for the most part. A good majority of the noteworthy games shown at the Microsoft conference are multi platform, with only a handful staples actually on Microsoft's exclusivity. They had a great show to be sure, but nothings changed about their exclusive dilemma; there still very little reason to buy an xbox over other platforms unless you are die hard for the few exclusives they do have.
Deathrace King also with Shadows Die Twice it's character also has a well functioning arm of his own, to kick demon ass. I wonder if Capcom and FromSoft were sharing ideas on that one, in a similar way they shared ideas with Sega when DMC first came out. As it the same time as Sonic Adventure 2 which also had a similar gameplay ranking system based on how many homing attacks you chained together into grinds, the pole swinging thing and light speed dash across rings.
My ass would of been jumping out that seat and screaming at the top of my lung's if I just watched a trailer about a new Devil May Cry game coming out after some year's.
Only thing i didn't like when i played DMC 5 for the first time was that Virgil had different face model than Dante. I thought they would make them with almost identical face's, they are twins after all.
