Wasn't going to be a big problem if they used something else for the first gameplay reveal. Maybe the mission where V and Takemura invade the werehouse, it's a pretty good gameplay segment for a demonstration. And in their effort to overhype everything, they went and said Jackie is important.
Still, Jackie isn't a small thing for the finished game, it's a pretty big part of V's character and there are a number of dialogue options to fortify this significance.

@@josephbastarache4679 Exactly the same here. About 400 hours now, started a bit before Phantom Liberty. On my second run, almost done, then I'll probably be satisfied. Almost necessary to play at least twice, with the different play styles possible, decisions of course, and massive gameplay changes with 2.0. Definitely in top five games I've played in my life. Better late than never.

But yes, finally, after 2 goddamn years, its finally becoming a decent game. Just not what was advertised, and 2 years late.
Nahh, still got tons of issues, ain't near the rebound No Man Sky did, but it atleast is serviceable now. Just an average as hell open world game with a unique setting.
Lol not even close to what it was supposed to be. Still buggy and crashes all the time during missions. Try getting through chippin' in without having to restart 5 times.
Systems and builds are still broken as hell. My unequipped netrunner decimates whole buildings on highest difficulty through one single camera access point.
Owning apartments is pointless outside of RP. There is still no car tuning. Police has dumbest AI ever. 1.6 removed clothing mods from stores and put them behind rng ncpd chests. The Afterlife, THE canon place to get gigs, doesn't offer you a quest-hub with daily activities etc.
Once you're done with gigs and ncpd spawns that's it. Game has no replayability.
Mods are so unstable once you install them you can only go back to something somewhat stable by completely downloading the game again. Crashes everywhere.
I like the whole story and dynamic between V and Johnny. That's why I stuck through once. Did the secret ending and now I'm not touching it until the DLC reviews start coming in. Then I'll decide if I'll even get it.

Man I'm so proud of CD Projekt Red. I remember when they went on the stage at E3 to present Witcher 3 and the crowd didn't react at all, just a lukewarm applause. Now only their logo needs to pop up and people start to undress themselves. And the best thing is, they deserve that hype! Hope it never changes.

@@Heatwave9000 Because E3 is dead in favor of every publisher doing their own individual shows, usually without an audience. The best example is the Fallout 4 E3 showcase vs the Starfield direct. The Starfield direct was longer and showed more, but the Fallout 4 one was a lot more hype because they had an audience reacting, whereas Starfield was just a video put together and released online.

I’ve logged over 70 hours already and while there are a ton of bugs and it’s really hard to run on my PC it’s been a blast. I’d rate it a 8/10 for now, as I haven’t finished the story and there are obviously issues that need to be ironed out, but the game is great IMO.

So much respect to the developers for continuing to expand the game despite the rough start. The anime definitely saved the day, but the patch even before 1.6 before the anime came out, was good. With the newly added features on 1.6, it gets better. Still running my net runner build currently on the hardest mode. So much fun. Can’t wait til the expansion.

Without talking about how Cyberpunk 2077 came out, I think we can say that kenau's participation in the game, I mean, the role of Johnny Silverhand was one of the best things in the game, being the most memorable character in the game by far, really my 10/10 for this great actor

It's not even an RPG, choices don't really matter, there's no AI for anything pretty much, Fallout 4 levels of dialogue and choice, constant bugs, your background (which was supossed to be important) doesn't really matter, you only get like 20 minutes of actual unique story, genitals customization goes nowhere and has no meaning, yet they decided to make a huge deal out of it.

Years later, 2.0 update just dropped, Cyberpunk 2077 is finally the great game we were promised. Maybe not the "Deus EX on a GTA scale" some people were expecting, but still. I'm having so much fun.
Much better than Deus Ex and much bigger scale than Another Boring Theft Auto.
