Just look at it this way, we'll be able to play and beat Death Stranding before Cyberpunk 2077 is released! It's a win-win in my book. It's getting harder and harder to play and beat some of these games because they're being released so close to each other and my backlog is huge right now!
My point of view is whether CPR or kojima or even naughty dog really bring positive side in gaming industry. They always try to push beyond the limit and it always good to see :)

I couldn't be more happy about the recent resurgence of popularity and prevalence of Keanu in entertainment media.
100% agree, this man deserves all the goodness coming to him.

John Wick is the perfect role for him. The character requires everything that Keanu does very well, and almost none of the things that Keanu doesn't do very well. All the emotional stuff is out the window 15 minutes into the first film, and then it's just badass lone wolf fighting bad guys while looking calm and collected. It's like The Matrix, but this time around Neo is "just" a guy who spent his whole life killing people.

Can’t believe it’s been two years since this. Keanu owned 2019 for sure. I remember I was going thru terrible depression at the time and seeing him being the center of attention lifted my spirits.

I came here just to once again feel what was like to believe the hype, it still gets me excited despite the truth. If only they've applied as much care on game at release as they did with this presentation.
They applied themselves. That wasn't the problem. It just came out a year or two too soon, which is crazy.
Yep, lot of effort was put on marketing and hype building. Not enough on game building.
2 years later, I only wish the game was like this when it launched.
That April release date made the developers shit themselves. They didn't know about that until this E3 announcement just like us.

I TOTALLY agree with Jones. When artists create, they create assuming you don't already KNOW what they have created. The ENTIRE work hinges on that. From framing choices to dialog choices to the structure of the entire thing. To spoil it and say "it doesn't matter" is to basically piss all over the artist and their hard work. It's the most disrespectful thing you can do to an artist.
You should hear Jason Schriers view on it.

crazy10bears I agree wholeheartedly. To pretend E3 is just a marketing spin for businesses is crazy and cynical. The people, the fans and gamers love this shit just as much. It’s a symbiotic event, and Jason believe it’s purely self serving towards businesses and so leaks should be cheered and celebrated. Fans like being surprised, and leaks ruin it. Jason’s just defending it because it fills his pockets.

Thats the thing, he will not be bought with money, he must like project to be personally part of it. They talked with him for 3 hours showing premise and passion they have, and considering Keanu has strong roots in scify/cyberpunk settings he must like it.
But it was worth it.
Next day on stock trade CDPR have gained more than 2.5Billion stock worth within few hours. That's huge profit. Keanu probably cost them max 1% of income ;]
