That moment when you realize the seemingly random sequences of letters and number in the beginning are actual codes for Witcher 3 GOTY Edition. Good on ya, CDPR.
In codes you can find a letter from CD PROJECT.
1. When?
When we said we would only release the game when it was ready, that's what we meant. We are definitely closer to the premiere than we were then. ;) But it is still time to confirm anything, so you still have to be patient. Quality is the only issue that drives us. It's the beauty of being an independent studio and your own publisher.
2. How big?
Really big, but ... to be honest, we have no idea at the moment. Once we gather everything to the pile, we will openly let you know. We promise we'll do it before we talk to you about pre-release orders or we'll ask you for anything.
3. Free DLC / add-ons / DRM
Do not expect anything less than the Witcher 3. In terms of DRM, Cyberpunk 2077 will be 100% free of this type of security.
4. Micro-transactions?
In the one player RPG game? Are you crazy?

Playing Cyberpunk in 2023 is actually blowing my mind, it honestly on par or even better than The Witcher 3. Good thing my gpu is busted in 2020 so I can play the polish version of the game lol

Although at the beginning everyone hated this game, I always loved it, in 2020 it was my favorite game and in 2023 it's still my favorite game... and this old trailer still makes me feel excited.

It’s been over 2077 days since we announced our plan to develop Cyberpunk 2077. We released a CGI trailer, gave some interviews and… went dark. Normal Procedure for these kinds of things - you announce a game and then shut up, roll up your sleeves, and go to work. We wanted to give you The Witcher 3 and both expansions first which is why this period of staying silent was longer than we planned. Sorry for that.
As soon as we concluded work on Blood and Wine, we were able to go full speed ahead with CP2077’s pre-production. But we chose to remain silent. Why? At some point, we made a decision to rescue talking about the game only when we have something to show. Something meaningful and substantial. This is because we do realise you’ve been (im)patiently waiting for a very long time, and we wouldn’t like anyone to feel that we’re taking this for granted. On the contrary - it gives us a lot of extra motivation. The hype is real, so that the sweat and tears need to be real, too :).
But, to the point. Today is the day. If you’re seeing this, it means you saw the trailer - our vision of Cyberpunk, an alternative version of the future where America is in pieces, mega-corporations control all aspects of civilised life, and gangs rule the rest. And, while this world is full of adrenaline, don’t let the car chases and guns mislead you. Cyberpunk 2077 is a true single player, story-driven RPG. You’ll be able to create your own character and… well, you’ll get to know the rest from what we show at our booth at E3. Be on the lookout for the previews!
Before we finish, you probably have some questions, right?

ArtifiShuL Instinct I think, Sony kinda expected Microsoft is gonna go all in this year, that’s why they said that this year’s conference is “not your typical Press Conference”. And that they are gonna be focusing on their 4 major exclusives. Which is good, but unfortunately for sony, fans want announcements, trailers and reveals.

I thought that was a great conference with lots of great trailers for games I wasn't expecting to see from Microsoft. Presentation was on point and they had way less filler than any year. It was a great show imo. Some people only get excited by very specific types of games though and that's fine too.
I've been more of a Sony guy for this whole generation but how could I not be excited to see DMC5, Cyberpunk and Shadows Die twice? those trailers delivered for me big time!

The target was a map 4 times bigger than TW3. But even when the size will be as big as TW3, i will still buy it for sure.

3.7 years later... watching these today, hits me deep in the soul. It is absolutely incredible how this table of events kept turning. It went from incredible hype, to incredible disappointment, to incredible redemption arc and an anime that helped power this baby back up to light up not just Night City, but also the lives of the many who hoped it could be saved.
CDPR has truly outdone themselves with this game and you won't know unless you actually play it and look at everything. So much passion. So much work was done. Even with the few remaining bugs we hope to see get squashed in the near future (with a handful of mods now in existence to help take care of some), this game is truly phenomenal. I've never experienced anything like it.
Play it at 1440p or 4K with everything turned up and my god, is it the most immersive thing ever to be installed on my computer.
The dial is lined up as good as it can be today. I highly recommend it (especially if you're rocking a strong gaming rig). 💪🦾
