I'm a regular on the other channel, just starting to get back into RC's and this is the push I needed. Going to start rebuilding my 1/5 scale baja and start a new scaler, might start with this SCX10. Many moons ago I was a competitive crawler, still have my RC room with about 50 RC's that I held onto.

Never knew you were into rc. Ive been into scale crawlers for almost 10 years now. Still rocking my 10ii(all aftermarket pieces) Prolone came out with a stepside 76 body in 2019, and i built an entire truck around it. Has a Holmes hobbys 2700kv puller pro, Castle mambax esc on 4s, a Holmes hobbys shv800 servo(direct power 1200oz inches of torque), stainless high clearance links, desert lizard shocks, Proline bfg tires, ssd slot mag wheels, brass chubs, custom airbrushed body, custom tig welded stainless bumpers, servo winch, lots of led lights, radiolink 8 channel transmitter. Also have drag slash nova with 3.5 turn brushless motor, and mambax, (savox servo, belted proline tires) smt10 tig welded tube frame monster truck, j concepts tires, Castle sidewinder with a 4800kv motor, all aftermarket metal ar60 axles with mip guts, incision driveshafts....and 12 more lol. None of them stock. Think that stock motor has torque? Check out holmes hobbys brushed motors. Cheap upgrade with impressive results, the hobbywing 1080 is a great speed controller as well. And any aftermarket transmitter is almost a must have. For less than 150 bucks, you can have 1 controller that runs everything. You dont know how much you need it until you have it.

I am from other channel too. My favorite RC is the 1/16 erevo. I bought a roller then added all the hop ups I wanted to make it original. I did the big block upgrade with the 5700kv sidewinder 3 combo. It is powered by 2 MAX AMPS 3 cell 1850mah 100c. This little thing is so unbelievably fast.
I have been out of RCs for years, but recently I have been bit by the RC bug again. I recently got 2 Losi Micro Bs and I absolutely love them, I take them to my local hobby shop on the weekends with the family.
My two boys and I are running three axial scx24s. We take them around the block and out with us when we going camping and off-roading. They are a blast right out of the box.
I've just got back into RC Quadcopters and literally building a brand new FPV setup right now, so a good time to start watching some of Jeremy's revived RC content I guess 👍
You've been in the hobby for 15 years then you got into it during the hobbies dark days. If you got into RC in the 90's or even early 2000's then you were having a good time. You had a shitload of nitro kits and RTR to choose from, you had the peak of Team Associated and Team Losi competition, Novak, Tekin, LRP, Reedy, Trinity, Team Orion were still around. This was the peak of brushed motors when they were still fast instead of the sealed can crap we have today. Yes you have brushless which is better in everyway. But the hobby was definitely bigger back then. Hobbyshops always had a ton of stock, not just filled with traxxas and Arrma stuff. Definitely a different time. Today though I have to say you definitely have allot of products out there and the fun factor is through the roof with brushless and lipo.

Thanks for posting this. I'm here from the Quartering channel. Tomley and Kevin Talbot need some competition. Thoughts on looking into some cheaper RC cars like WPL and MN Models? Those seem to get hits because they are cheap, upgradable, looks real good and pretty good RTR. Took a cheap lil WPL C24, and put in a 370 Hi-Torque motor, 3S battery, metal drive shafts, metal axles, new ESC and stronger Servo...for less than the price of a TRX4m, it's a much nicer RC. Kinda like comparing Building a PC vs Buying one from Meta PCs.

Love Axial for their scale models, I'm an old-school Tamiya collector. that said, the Brushless Arrma Mojave Grom is on my short list this year, I have too many shelf-queens, & need something to run.
@edgarpoe517 honestly the body alone is worth is. If you want performance just add better axles and lcg transmission. Little filing and a few hours of careful assembly. Worth it.
I'm currently building a scratch built 1964 Dodge Sweptline Crew Cab Powerwagon with a custom 3d printed body custom welded stretched chassis RC4WD trail finder 2 or 3 builder kit also building a Dumas River towboat & going to scratch build my own barges
I got the gen 2 Axial with Jeep body but the ESC /motor whined so bad I had family members coming out or their rooms asking what the hell is that? Ended up returning it. I'm much more into CrossRC now. Also had a TRX4 Range Rover and much preferred the EMO-X.
Decent sale price. Still that price should have had clip less or hidden body clips. It does look freaking sweet!!!!! Wish u put up as many videos as ur political channel!!!! Awesome collection!

Element enduros are a good platform too. Element transmissions are great.
