Hi from Italy, due to your review, I am going to buy this , I hope you're in a good shape now after covid, send you a hug from the beautiful Italy...thanks for your videos..
Hi. I have a canon 7D Mark II with EFS lenses. Mostly use the 18-135 for travel. I use APSC to keep the size and weight down. However I still sometimes struggle to fit the camera and 2 lenses in my bag. My little compact doesn't shoot raw. Do you think this is a great camera for traveling light. I use DXO photolab 7 and I'm wondering if the camera is supported and if DXO lens corrections will help make an acceptable image. I'm not expecting it to match the 7Dii performance, but when I was forced to take my compact with zoom and 6mm sensor to India I was so disappointed only having Jpeg images.
Looks like a great way to get timelapses with super telephoto focal lengths on a budget. As a suggestion, I’d love to see a Timelapse of the moon rising or setting with this camera.
You can purchase a separate battery charger on amazon meaning you can have a spare on charge something I'm going to do now according to some other reviewer on here plus ya can buy filters for this model but beware cheapo filters choose wisely...

I have this camera and its excellent for my needs, you should try the Panasonic FZ330. Same sort of set up but the zoom is only 25-600mm, but its F2.8 through out the whole focal lemgth.. Its only 12mp but it can also shoot at 4K 30fps,it has a flip out selfie display and a 3.5mm external mic socket.. I have both these cameras and as i said above they both fulfil my needs..
Excellent comment. I think the 12mp count is supposed to be an advantage over previous models. It's one of a number of instances where Panasonic has actually reduced the pixel count on a higher spec small sensor camera to improve the image quality and reduce the noise. Some smartphones use 20-40mp on a sensor that might be even smaller but this does not always improve the image. On close inspection those super sharp iphone/Galaxy images seem to be artificially sharpened by the phone's software to give an almost gouache like appearance when the image is blown up. The untreated image is probably a lot softer and busier than the Lumix one. 12mp might just be the sweet spot for this sensor size -sometimes less is more as they say.
You need to head out of the city and that filthy city air and steamy hot up currents and try out the i-zoom and digital zoom up to 9600mm. You need that cool clean country air to take advantage of it.

This super ultra zoom camera is unique in its own way (in the AMATEUR segment).
instablaster...
Yes. No alternative even in 2023. 1700mm optical video in 4K. I bought 3 just in case. One with 2 tele (1,7 original LT 55 + 2,2 Raynox) = 24000mm with digital (which is good in 4K)
Thanks. A nice movie about FZ82. But ... it's for everyone who already knows everything about the camera ... because you talk so fast you do not keep up. Take it easy .. The camera's super good for the money. I have two ... bought another because I was afraid it would disappear from the market.
Hugs from Sweden.
Way better than what I’d expect from a £170 camera, awesome find👍🏻Footage looks great but the stabilisation issues at long telephoto are just such 1st world problems😂Had the P1000 on loan for a while a couple of years ago and had the same issues, anything at 3,000 and I was getting earthquake like shake with even zero wind 🤣
And then there’s atmospheric haze and waves of heat…
I want to buy a super camera
Bet 10$ that youll get the nikon version of that long boi and probably a wall mount of some sort for your timelapses.
I don't want to take the bet cause you're right 😂
Where are you in Glasgow?
London?
p950 is in my opinion better then the p1000. p1000 is not really handy to bring on adventures while the p950 is more comfartable to take with you. the zoom difference is minimal
time lapse in cam is key
Is that an Idris Muhammad T-shirt?
You've got a great eye
Dude plz do giveaway hero GoPro 🥺🥺
