Kilmers Suit was the first time we saw Batman Run in live action
*I Loved Batman Forever!* Loved how Gotham city looks in that one too, like the city is bathing in moody, Neon Light. I wanna vacation there. Also Two-face: Unofficial live-action Joker portrayal.
BF is OK, kind of good except for its Two-Face.
Batman & Robin. Loved Mr Freeze; Loved Robin's Nightwing costume; and loved that Mr freeze reconciled with Batman and help save Alfred's life at the end. Plus I loved the production on this film. Very colorful and well crafted. I understand people love to debate "quality" of story between these two, but to me they are generally of equal strengths in that arena. If you look at the basic plot structure of B&R, its identical to BF. Similar opening sequence with Batman leaving to fight a villain; introduction of said villain with the faceoff; origin and intent reveal for villains; Batman fights villain again in colorful crowd sequence; Bruce Wayne makes a public appearance and is smooched over by Bob Kane's wife. We get a new hero origin to add to the family; They combine to fight the villains with a "super weapon"; Plans foiled, wrap up with happy faces, and we see the silhouettes of heroes running in camera... Cue music.
They're fun and honestly treat the material allot more humanely than so much of the serious brooding that goes on today. To me, The Batman is more camp than these two films, because he's so serious and the story tries to be so grounded, its betrays the concept. No one in real life is going to take someone walking around in costume (in full view) seriously. That's just a fan boys wet dream, but not "real life". Schumacher at least understood he was making a comic book , so he made all the characters (and the their environment) exaggerated to meet the standard.
I went to see Batman Forever about 6 times was 19 years old back then massive Batman Fan its the best Interpretation of that Version of Batman mix of Camp with good acting and great Visuals and action. Thurman is a positive to Batman and Robin but Forever is the best
