- Phronesis are a jazz trio like no other, with an unfaltering command over style and tempo and a broad palette from which their composition and improvisation draws. Having recently released their new album Parallax to rave reviews, they made their live return to Band on the Wall on 14th June 2016, playing music from the new album and their back catalogue.

Truly enjoyed this performance. Phronesis is one of my favorite jazz trios. Walking a fine line between melody and dissonance. And those rhythms! Tight. Grooving. In the pocket. Hope they come to America.

Great album. With the big band i was expecting to get blown away, but it was much more subtle. You guys need to come and play in Scotland, it's just a hop over the water :)
