There seems to be a massive connection to eyes and the moon and tide - both are crescents AND circles depending on the time of day. That's important because of the word MOON in the date of Clancy's portion of the letters! I go back to the lyric "did the tide forget to move" and the letter's mention of "where the water meets the sand" - day/night, sleep/awake, low/high tide...all has a cyclical nature, often like depression/anxiety. "I could take the high road, but I know that I'm going low" and "I'm lighter when I'm lower, I'm higher when I'm heavy, oh I'm so high, my jumpsuit takes me so high." The next album will be lessons on ripping off the tape and staying awake ("faith is to be awake") despite these cycles. I think a blue era is imminent (maybe purple because mixed with red) from the glowing city but also because of the letters' blue pen handwriting!

If the paladin definition really does play in, I think we can see the Dema storyline as being an allegory for Tyler n Josh figuring out what their purpose as musicians is given their fame. Trench starts with ‘pressures of a new place role my way’, the pressures of being successful artists after the success of blurryface. Now, they’re learning the lesson of being good moral leaders to those who need it, and that’s all that matters as being artists to them. Either way I’m just happy to be back in my irregular ‘twenty one pilots are doing something with the lore’ moment :)

so I got to the part about 2/29 (Feb 29) and then I remembered overcompensate their newest song so I went to the music vid and looked at the time it was published and guess what it was published on Feb 29, 2/29. they were telling us when their newest song was going to come out.
I think there are two possible endings this album could bring, either the banditos and Clancy defeat the bishops. Or possibly a twist where Clancy falls to the control of the bishops and takes the place of keons, though this is unlikely I think it's a possibility

The letter of Clancy that said inferno reminded me of Dante's inferno. 9 bishops. 9 circles of hell. 9 circles on Blurryface. I'm looking at the lyrics and the circles and what they represent and the lyrics and the different circles. One of the names Lisden (polarize) the representing denial is a start but idk just sharing my first thoughts. That can be a useful source for now, plus have a bunch of different things I'm thinking of but its hard to write it all at once for a youtube comment.

honestly as cool as the hex code new era color theory is, i am really hoping that it isn't red and white because it is going to feel like blurryface as far as the aesthetics of it. I've been a part of clique for years and I would still be clueless if I were left alone with the lore. Swift's easter eggs are fun but have less world building and mystery
This is a long one, and some things might not be spelled right, and some might not make sense. This is just what I believe might happen and my theory. A good theory I may add. But okay let's start from here. In Dema, the place where Clancy, the bishops and many others live. It is a circular, concrete place. It keeps them from the outside world. Well Trench, out side of Dema, the people of Dema are not allowed to go. The people of Dema are not allowed to leave. Well, in heavy dirty soul, Clancy tricks Nico into letting him out of Dema. Nico drives a CAR out into trench. Well Clancy escapes, the car catches on fire and Nico flees (or something, it dosnt show where Nico goes). So Clancy is free, he goes into the Trench. This is the start of the Trench Album, and this starts with jumpsuit. Right after heavy dirty soul. So Clancy puts on his jumpsuit, and takes off the Dema clothes. He wanders the trench, but Nico finds him. But, the Banditos are there. They live in trench and hate Dema. Well, Nico takes Clancy back to Dema. This is where Nico and the Niners take place. We are introduced to all the bishops. The first scene is an over look of Dema. But, also Clancy in his room, trapped. Back in Dema clothes, but he has a sunflower. The banditos color is yellow. One of the next lines, 'they want to make you forget' talking about how the people of Dema have this kinda Haze over them, the bishops are like their saviors. Then we see the banditos under ground, with TORCHES. Looking to save Clancy. The banditos make their way into Dema, and Clancy leaves his room. He goes down to I think the court yard and gets surrounded by Banditos. Well they take him with them. Now we're onto Levitate, it starts with the banditos leading Clancy to their base or whatever. The torch barrier leading them. They shave Clancy head, and put the yellow tape on him. Again the banditos are holding TORCHES. 'Don't feed me to the vultures.' The people get fed to vultures. They sit at the campfire, the cycle is to heavy and Clancy is taken back by Nico. This leads us to Shy away, the bishops making Clancy preform for everyone. That's like all that happens. This leads to Saturday. Again, Clancy having to preform for the people, they are on a guarded boat. They are preforming for the people, then Trash the dragon hits the boat. But Trash is getting seized, but by who? Keons. Clancys bishop. So, Trash dies because he got seized. So the boat sinks. This leads to the outside. We see that Keons was seizing Trash. The bishops all take out daggers and kill him. Killing Trash aswell. Now we see Clancy, out of the kinda trance-ish the bishops put him in. Like the performance trance. He walks the island he's been swept onto, and sees Ned's in a cave. He follows the Ned into the cave. He gets led deeper into the cave and sees more Ned's. He follows one out into the opening, and sees an older Ned, his horns popped of his head and he gives them to Clancy. The horns, are is what's used to Seize things. Only bishops can seize, but Clancy seems to be an exception. He seizes Keons, makes him knock over and break his light. He stops seizing him. Then him and the torch barrier raises their torches, and you see other lights off in the distance I'm pretty sure it's other banditos. This leads us not to Overcompensate, but to I Am Clancy. This explains what has happened, and how he is going back to Dema. So now Overcompensate. Clancy is back in Dema, in a building. The people of Dema are watching, and Clancy explains who he is. That's really all that happens, sure there's more in lyrics but I'm not getting to deep into that. But at the end, it shows that Clancy wasn't really there, but Clancy was really just seizing someone. Clancy was really just entering what I believe to be trench. Now Navigating picks up right after overcompensate. This is about how he's navigating not only his way to Dema but his head. In the video we see how he's with the Torch bearer. But that wasn't really him. That was someone basically Dema created in Clancys mind. Clancy is reunited with the touch bearer, and realizes that he was never really there. Once Clancy realizes this, my blood starts to play. In my blood, the main boy has this 'brother' that never was really there. It was only the beginning few notes of my blood but it could be hinting at that was Clancy. Then at the end, we see the Banditos and their TORCHES near Clancy and the Torch Bearer. Now this leads to Paladin Strait. But before I get into that let me explain my idea. The song A Car, A Torch, A Death in the self titled album. I'm sure you've seen my capped words. A car being the blurry face album, specifically heavydirtysoul, a torch, specially levitating, but what about a death. Scaled and Icy, the outside? Well it would make sense yes. But, I think Clancy, Paladin Strait. What if Clancy dies. His Bishop is dead, and we don't have a music video for the song yet. But, the A1Z26 cipher 3.12.1.14.3.25 9.19 4.5.1.4 is located at the bottom of each poster can be decoded to 'Clancy Is Dead'. Back to the song, the lines 'Can't be sure that I'll make it. Even though I'm past the point of no return' I think is signaling to how he's going to die, not that he might not make it to where ever. Now in the outro, he says how banditos are fighting, fighting what? The people of Dema? The vultures? The bishops them selfs? We don't know but we will soon I guess. 'Even though I'm past the point of no ret-. *So few, so proud, so emotional. Hello, Clancy*' Who is that? Did he find Nico? Possibly. Or did he find Keons? Possibly. I don't know I'm just spewing shit. But I do think Clancy is going to die
I’d recommend watching my “Lore Explained” RUclips Short series! It’s an ongoing series explaining elements of the lore. Outside of that, RUclipsr Nalbis has some phenomenal videos summarizing the Trench-era lore. I definitely think there’s a lot of validity to what you’re saying, especially with the fire/bones line! Additionally, Tyler has confirmed that Dema is always shrouded in darkness.

The letter of Clancy that said inferno reminded me of Dante's inferno. 9 bishops. 9 circles of hell. 9 circles on Blurryface. I'm looking at the lyrics and the circles and what they represent and the lyrics and the different circles. One of the names Lisden (polarize) the representing denial is a start but idk just sharing my first thoughts. That can be a useful source for now, plus have a bunch of different things I'm thinking of but its hard to write it all at once for a youtube comment.

honestly as cool as the hex code new era color theory is, i am really hoping that it isn't red and white because it is going to feel like blurryface as far as the aesthetics of it. I think it would be really cool to see a purple and green or orange as the secondaries, because red was blurryface, yellow was trench, blue was SAI, red +blue =Purple Blue + Yellow = Green Red+Yellow = Orange

I've been a part of clique for years and I would still be clueless if I were left alone with the lore. Swift's easter eggs are fun but have less world building and mystery

This is a long one, and some things might not be spelled right, and some might not make sense. This is just what I believe might happen and my theory. A good theory I may add. But okay let's start from here. In Dema, the place where Clancy, the bishops and many others live. It is a circular, concrete place. It keeps them from the outside world. Well Trench, out side of Dema, the people of Dema are not allowed to go. The people of Dema are not allowed to leave. Well, in heavy dirty soul, Clancy tricks Nico into letting him out of Dema. Nico drives a CAR out into trench. Well Clancy escapes, the car catches on fire and Nico flees (or something, it dosnt show where Nico goes). So Clancy is free, he goes into the Trench. This is the start of the Trench Album, and this starts with jumpsuit. Right after heavy dirty soul. So Clancy puts on his jumpsuit, and takes off the Dema clothes. He wanders the trench, but Nico finds him. But, the Banditos are there. They live in trench and hate Dema. Well, Nico takes Clancy back to Dema. This is where Nico and the Niners take place. We are introduced to all the bishops. The first scene is an over look of Dema. But, also Clancy in his room, trapped. Back in Dema clothes, but he has a sunflower. The banditos color is yellow. One of the next lines, 'they want to make you forget' talking about how the people of Dema have this kinda Haze over them, the bishops are like their saviors. Then we see the banditos under ground, with TORCHES. Looking to save Clancy. The banditos make their way into Dema, and Clancy leaves his room. He goes down to I think the court yard and gets surrounded by Banditos. Well they take him with them. Now we're onto Levitate, it starts with the banditos leading Clancy to their base or whatever. The torch barrier leading them. They shave Clancy head, and put the yellow tape on him. Again the banditos are holding TORCHES. 'Don't feed me to the vultures.' The people get fed to vultures. They sit at the campfire, the cycle is to heavy and Clancy is taken back by Nico. This leads us to Shy away, the bishops making Clancy preform for everyone. That's like all that happens. This leads to Saturday. Again, Clancy having to preform for the people, they are on a guarded boat. They are preforming for the people, then Trash the dragon hits the boat. But Trash is getting seized, but by who? Keons. Clancys bishop. So, Trash dies because he got seized. So the boat sinks. This leads to the outside. We see that Keons was seizing Trash. The bishops all take out daggers and kill him. Killing Trash aswell. Now we see Clancy, out of the kinda trance-ish the bishops put him in. Like the performance trance. He walks the island he's been swept onto, and sees Ned's in a cave. He follows the Ned into the cave. He gets led deeper into the cave and sees more Ned's. He follows one out into the opening, and sees an older Ned, his horns popped of his head and he gives them to Clancy. The horns, are is what's used to Seize things. Only bishops can seize, but Clancy seems to be an exception. He seizes Keons, makes him knock over and break his light. He stops seizing him. Then him and the torch barrier raises their torches, and you see other lights off in the distance I'm pretty sure it's other banditos. This leads us not to Overcompensate, but to I Am Clancy. This explains what has happened, and how he is going back to Dema. So now Overcompensate. Clancy is back in Dema, in a building. The people of Dema are watching, and Clancy explains who he is. That's really all that happens, sure there's more in lyrics but I'm not getting to deep into that. But at the end, it shows that Clancy wasn't really there, but Clancy was really just seizing someone. Clancy was really just entering what I believe to be trench. Now Navigating picks up right after overcompensate. This is about how he's navigating not only his way to Dema but his head. In the video we see how he's with the Torch bearer. But that wasn't really him. That was someone basically Dema created in Clancys mind. Clancy is reunited with the touch bearer, and realizes that he was never really there. Once Clancy realizes this, my blood starts to play. In my blood, the main boy has this 'brother' that never was really there. It was only the beginning few notes of my blood but it could be hinting at that was Clancy. Then at the end, we see the Banditos and their TORCHES near Clancy and the Torch Bearer. Now this leads to Paladin Strait. But before I get into that let me explain my idea. The song A Car, A Torch, A Death in the self titled album. I'm sure you've seen my capped words. A car being the blurry face album, specifically heavydirtysoul, a torch, specially levitating, but what about a death. Scaled and Icy, the outside? Well it would make sense yes. But, I think Clancy, Paladin Strait. What if Clancy dies. His Bishop is dead, and we don't have a music video for the song yet. But, the A1Z26 cipher 3.12.1.14.3.25 9.19 4.5.1.4 is located at the bottom of each poster can be decoded to 'Clancy Is Dead'. Back to the song, the lines 'Can't be sure that I'll make it. Even though I'm past the point of no return' I think is signaling to how he's going to die, not that he might not make it to where ever. Now in the outro, he says how banditos are fighting, fighting what? The people of Dema? The vultures? The bishops them selfs? We don't know but we will soon I guess. 'Even though I'm past the point of no ret-. *So few, so proud, so emotional. Hello, Clancy*'
Who is that? Did he find Nico? Possibly. Or did he find Keons? Possibly. I don't know I'm just spewing shit. But I do think Clancy is going to die

I’d recommend watching my “Lore Explained” RUclips Short series! It’s an ongoing series explaining elements of the lore. Outside of that, RUclipsr Nalbis has some phenomenal videos summarizing the Trench-era lore.
The band also uploaded a video called “I Am Clancy” a week or so ago, and that provides a very broad view of the overall lore as well.
