I love how all these videos are very different. This time just Beethoven, no dancers, no actors, just him.
And Eddy must have taken some singing lessons. That's dedication :)

@@Erincutioner I can hear the pitch correction and the post edit though the video, though.
Judging the singing technique alone, it's not very good. You can still hear it's forced in some parts and the different registers aren't well connected.
I'm not saying I dislike the video, but the editing of the vocals is doing the heavy lifting here.

ALL the Beethoven music references in this MV! (hope I caught it all, if not pls reply so I can edit it in)
0:03~0:09: 9th symphony 1st movement, bars 17~18 (including last note of 16 and first note of 19)
0:18~0:33: 9th symphony 2nd movement, bars 57~72 repeated twice as the background melody. Each repetition the last few bars are slightly altered from major to minor keys.
0:34~0:49: 9th symphony 2nd movement, roughly bars 26~40, repeated twice as the background melody. Each time the ending bars are modified, with inspiration from nearby parts, to loop and transition more smoothly.
0:50~0:56: 9th symphony 1st movement, bars 23~26 (including first note of 27), as the main melody. The octave and downwards scale are a minor third harmony below from the original.
0:58~1:05: 9th symphony 2nd movement bars 338~345 as the background melody. The second half is repeated three times. Here the first time you hear the melody, the exact beats are actually from the previous bars 330~337, but played in a minor scale. So you could also view this as 330~337 altered into minor keys and then 342~345 repeated twice.
1:05~1:21: piano sonata "pathetique" 2nd movement, bars 1~8, but transposed into D minor as the chorus main melody. The original music is in A flat major and is a slow relaxing tune, but here is it changed into a fast, dramatic, minor melody. Aside from the transposition, the melody is almost completely unchanged.
1:23~1:38: piano sonata "moonlight" 1st movement bars 5~8 repeated twice as the background melody. Once again it is transposed to fit the key of this piece and the transitions are modified.
For the rest of the song, the chorus is repeated once, then 1:58~2:14 is a repetition of 0:18~0:33 but the background melody is brought into the foreground, and then the chorus is repeated twice.
These original pieces from Beethoven are also some of my most favorites in the whole classical music world so it was such a pleasure to listen to such a high production song from TwoSet that featured all of these pieces. Thank you TwoSet! Wish you guys the best of luck for your future endeavors!

I am speechless. His pain and love, so sharp, so touching. "They will cast me out if they find out that I`m out of hearing" -- how can you live when your life is music and your hearing is falling. And yet, he lives. He lives and makes his sonatas.
"We will live for art and for mankind..." - I can`t, so much power in those words. I stood up, as if it is a hymn.

Thank you for everything you've done these past 11 years, for every skit you made us laugh with, every note you played on your violins (in and out of tune 😉), for every theory you nerded out about, every tiger mum insult, every piece of twoset apparel, for every GO PRACTICE and for simply sharing your passion with us! Lyrics
    The pain, the void,
    innermost suffering, innermost noise
    They called me calloused
    Called me unfeeling
Can't let them know what I am concealing
    All of the despair
    The misery
    If I fall back
    Will you forgive me
    I'll be cast out
    For if they find out
    That I cannot shout
    That I'm out of hearing
The happiest days of my life are deserted in darkness
    The weight of my chains
    I swallow my fate
    I suffer in silence
All of the pain I feel revealed a comforting solace
    I cannot leave this world
    untill my mission's accomplished
    When my heart is burning
    Art shall me my guide
    For I will journey
    From hell to paradise
    I must live
    For art and for mankind
May God give me the strength
    to conquer my design
Play a wrong not a simple mistake
Play without passion the man is deranged
    Music us wild
    And we are obliged
to turn our attention sometimes to lower thing
    Liberation of the soul
Is the one thing we can control
    Only art and science
Can raise men to the level of gods
    I will live
    For art and for mankind
    An artist that is true
And divine strips away his pride
    We will live
    For art and for mankind
    Let freedom music
    and truth interwine
    My dying breath
    the comedy is done
    My music, my muse
    my true eternally beloved
