I love your tutorials! I just bought a Cricut Maker a couple days ago and am a total newbie. Other instructors make the mistake of clicking too fast in the design space. I have to re-watch their videos numerous times and freeze the frames to find what they selected. Keep up the great work!
I tried several RUclips tutorials and not one of them helped me or clearly explained how to make a puzzle using an existing photo! I’m so happy that I found yours! One issue I came across is that the print/cut function does not allow you to make a larger puzzle. I think the largest it allowed was 6.2…..which is quite small considering I selected a larger quantity of pieces. I do realize that this is a Cricut design space issue and not your fault, I just would have liked a little larger puzzle overall!
Michael, thank you for showing this. I have been wanting to do some puzzles for family photos but was intimidated. I appreciate the way that you explain and show us how to make things. Thank you so much.
I was having an issue with the very first puzzle file you inserted. Thank you so much for your friendly easy to follow tutorials. It’s very much appreciated.

Your Puzzles Spectacular as well as all of the ideas!! cuz this way I can mail them and not have it be Special Delivery LOL!!!! Your video was so much fun...and Loved watching your Detailed Creative Process you rock at a process video because the way you do it step by step with all of your visuals with the arrows is like non other!! @@juliegalloway3117 Hi....What I do is bring my photo into CDS then I can size it etc to the puzzle then I Print the photo on White Adhesive back Paper made for a Printer then I place it on the Cricut mat and have it cut the puzzle out then I adhere the pieces to the cut out puzzle parts......and I works Spectacularly I have made lots of puzzles this way.....Hope this helps Happy Cricut puzzle making
I love your channel! I have only been watching you for about a week. I signed up for your new Facebook page tonight. I even joined Auntie Tay through your link. I didn’t know her membership was only $8 a month. Please let me know if you are on Patreon or some other support service. I would love to help out🙂
Hi Mr. Crafty Pants, I am new to circut and love your channel. I have looked at many RUclipss and I find your super easy to follow, I will try the puzzle making. Also, I was wondering if you used the chip board 2.0 to make a puzzle and if it worked. If so can you do a you tube on that for me. Thank you and as always you are the BEST!!!!
If you do this with medium chipboard, would you increase pressure and still use the knife point blade or deep cut. I love this idea but it wouldn’t last a day in my house with card stock or poster board
I was really looking forward to this until I found that there are no free puzzles in design space. You can buy one for 99p, which is cheap, but I begrudge paying for anything since cricut changed their terms.
Great video. Can you use chip board for this so the puzzle is stiffer, it seems the poster board is a bit flimsy. Thank you for your great videos and ideas.
Me too. I think it has something to do with the puzzle. The one I chose is the same design but it is titles 8x8 unlike in your video I don't see a title for it.
He wasn't welding the puzzle to the photo. He was welding the puzzle pieces together, which created the solid white square. Then he used the white square and the photo image (selected both) to do the slice. It's a month later, but maybe that will still help some of you.
Has anyone figured out an effective way to make the puzzles bigger? Meaning, outside cut and print limit of 6 or 7 (Can’t remember what the exact number is but definitely not a full page)? I’m hurting my brains trying to figure out this project (also still new at this) but this was a big thing I wanted to do for Christmas and it’s like I’m hitting bumps every step of the way 😩 went to use my inkjet and did maintenance head cleaning because the ink was super streaky… well soooo that made it worse
Uhhhhg why can’t anything just work right? Siggghhhh… I’m getting so overly frustrated. I need like a cricut crafters retreat group campfires and be crafty!!!!! “Yaaasss!! Glorious! I shout out in my best evil warlord voice! I mean either that or maybe I’ll just be the “I drink and know things fellow. Lol Rise up my friends and let’s pitter get atter
every time i weld my image and jigsaw puzzle i lose the image and it just turns into a solid coloured square??? i tried 100 different ways its not working for me

This was so disappointing for me. I was hoping to make a real puzzle from this one. I really like all of your work and had to watch this video 10 + times to understand what you were doing because of how fast it was and all of the options you included for really no good reasons like the duplicate option. For the most part I love you and your videos but honestly I was all ready to get out my chip board and do a real puzzle and attach my photo and when it didn’t go there I was thoroughly frustrated. I wasted so much time trying to learn one step now I have to find someone else to teach me something else. Oh well. On to the next step.

This was a fun lesson. ❤️
I’m so glad you liked it! Thank you so much for watching! 😃❤️
Fun!
Great video!!! Can I use thin cork board for this and if so what blade would I use?? Thanks 😊
Mr. Crafty Pants you are totally amazing 😁❤
What specific items do I need to achieve the personalized puzzles including printers if needed

Wow thanks for the video❤can a laser printer be used?
Great idea, love your channel. For some reason my printer is only printing black and white through Cricut ! Yes, checked and tested printer!😔
Do u have to use sublimation for this
I’ll try this on card stock since that’s what I have
Brilliant! Love this idea!! So glad YT recommended this video! New sub! 😺

how do you make a back board for the puzzle to be put in
Hi, nice video....when u combine the puzzle image & picture do u send the puzzle 2 the back or leave in front?
Great!!! I will make it for my grandkids!!! What sealer do you used can you give me the name? Thanks a lot!!! You explained so easy!!😙😙😙😙
Hi why did u use less pressure when printing ❓
Not sure, if I could make print a cut puzzle with Crichton joy?
Can you figure out how to do a create a larger then mat puzzle?
What is the sealing spray you used ? Help!! 😩😊
Io ho una cricutjoy possibile fare un puzzle?
I was really looking forward to this until I found that there are no free puzzles in design space. You can buy one for 99p, which is cheap, but I begrudge paying for anything since cricut changed their terms.
How do you print without getting lines on the picture
I am having some problems. Do you have a platform where we can ask questions?
My image will not cut printed using your puzzle choice, rewatched reprinted, same message Maker not finding the borders? What might be wrong
Great video. Can you use chip board for this so the puzzle is stiffer, it seems the poster board is a bit flimsy. Thank you for your great videos and ideas.
Have you tried using chip board? I was getting ready to order some.
I'm stuck at the welding part. Idk if it's the sizing of the image but I cant get the weld and slice to com out right 😔
Same here. Anyone have ideas? It changes to a grey box and doesn’t give option to slice.
Me too. I think it has something to do with the puzzle. The one I chose is the same design but it is titles 8x8 unlike in your video I don't see a title for it.
i am stuck for the past 2 hrs in the same step and can't figure it out. so frustrating
He wasn't welding the puzzle to the photo. He was welding the puzzle pieces together, which created the solid white square. Then he used the white square and the photo image (selected both) to do the slice. It's a month later, but maybe that will still help some of you.
I gave up on the weld part and just did the attach and it worked for me somehow. I dont think you need to weld
Does anyone know why he used less pressure for the cuts?
I can't do it!!!!!! OMG I have been trying for over an hour. I'm Such a newbie!!!!
I try your steps no puzzle
When I press weld the picture disappears

I've tried several times to make a puzzle with cereal box but it only cuts AROUND the photo, no puzzle pieces. What am I doing wrong?
you didnt ungroup and get rid of the solid layer
every time i weld my image and jigsaw puzzle i lose the image and it just turns into a solid coloured square??? i tried 100 different ways its not working for me

Thank you for making an Autism Acceptance puzzle.
