Hi have just started to crochet again after approx 40 years!! I was a kid when i used to do it. It was all in the back of my brain but just needed some prompting to start again. I've just watched your video and it's been really helpful, thankyou. It's surprising how it all comes back to you after so long, & I'm really enjoying it too!! My first grandchild is due in March, and I'm going to make a blanket, so wish me luck!!
Lol I never thought to add faces to grannies lol My little grandson lives in TX & likes cowboy themed stuff so Nana is going to make him a cowboy blanket for Christmas lol Be well !!🦋

Thank you for this tutorial. As a beginner I have been trying to learn on how to do a solid crochet from different members on you tube. Everyone used a different method. However, when I found your tutorial on the solid granny square, I find your method the simplest of all, and I am going to stick to this.

I have a big question to ask you and I hope you can help me.I want to do plain granny squares with out the flowers, I am making an afghan with the flowers in it and I need some granny squares without the flowers. only one problem though. all the flower squares at the end of the last round between the corners there are 16 stitches before the corners so how do I get the plain granny squares to come out to 16 stitches between the corners so they will match up when I put the granny squares together. The basic granny square only comes out to be 15 stitches on the last round between the corners so I am actually one stitch short. Please help.... Thank you.
Can you, or someone, tell me how I can make this as a triangle? I THINK I can wing it but I'd like to make sure I'm doing it correctly. It's for a gift for my mother. Thanks a lot. I appreciate any help.
Hi again lol. I've made this square twice but struggling with sop stitch at the end. It almost s looks like there's one to many double stitches. And also seems to create a extra whole!! Arh! ( love this square). The rest of my square lines up. Help pls.......
